NorthernMomma Randomness… doing something right
My youngest (20) works in a trade and hears a lot of the folks he works with talk about who they support politically. One guy today told him he goes where the money is. My son said I don’t understand why you wouldn’t go where the humanity is.
I told him I love his heart.
He said “money is important yes but it isn’t forever; and the idea that you wouldn’t choose humanity is something I will never understand.”
When they say things like this they show me that we raised the kindest young men. I’m proud of that.
I like that they can take in what is said around them and know true from false and also that they value kindness so much in their big pictures.
Y'know I am just way better at traditional art than digital art and I can prove it to you by one drawing I did of Conner (I love drawing that man cus he's easy to draw)

Time to Rebuild... starting with my life.
For the past couple of days I've been on the phone with banks and my attorney and with Pete's people trying to work out a deal on this place...I put every last dime I own into some renovations and some repairs...I have been using my hands, and have been feeling great to be out in the sun, sweating and following a vision of paradise in my mind.
I will make something out of this. It's going to be a lot of hard work but it has to pay off. I miss my son... he's always looking disappointed at me in the corner of my mind... I want to change that look some day. I miss Diaz...I hope he and his mom will come down for a visit. I miss Mills...she gives me strength...I can do this because of her. LaRusso is fuzzy and fading into my past... because my heart belongs to someone else now. I dream of that day in the future and smile.

My son
So today the dog was barking and running through the house. Jaden looked at her and said, "Hush Kenzie. You're just another brick in the wall." Now he is going between singing Safety Dance and I Fought the Law. FYI he is just 16. God love his range of music knowledge. I have done something right.
