The solicitor line was about the adoption surely? And that always hinged on Rebecca's status, both Aaron and Robert were very clear on that? Nothing has been said about the parental rights thing, Rebecca doesn't lose out in that scenario, she obviously would've with adoption.
that´s how i took it at least. now obviously he also was in contact with a solicitor regarding aaron´s parental rights, but that line seemed to be squarely about rebecca and her involvement in seb´s life to me and about robert feeling guilty for having been ready and even happy to push her out without much of a second thought. not every single line robert sugden ever utters has to do with aaron or ties back to him or is somehow meant to reflect upon him.Â
