#dobos torta

✿ ドボシュトルタ | Dobostorta ・5層～7層からなる薄いスポンジケーキの層の間にモカ・チョコレートクリームをはさみ、一番上のスポンジケーキをカラメルで覆って仕上げる。ドボシュトルタ生みの親のドボシュ・C・ヨージェフ、ブダペシュトのグルメフード店の経営者に因んで名付けられた。 ・ドボシュトルタはオーストリア＝ハンガリー二重君主国の君主、ハンガリー国王フェレンツ・ヨージェフ1世兼オーストリア皇帝フランツ・ヨーゼフ1世の好物でもあった。

Went to the Gerbeaud sweets buffet today 🍰 I ate all nine items on the buffet menu and nearly died trying 😂 Everything was smaller than the regular items, but it was more than enough. You can eat two rounds, but I already had trouble finishing one. It’s not just or not really the mass, it’s the sweets - I still can’t think of sweets without my stomach protesting 😅 Not to mention Hungarian sweets are heavy ✨ There was Dobos, Gerbeaud, Eszterházy, something like rácsos linzer, and others seemed familiar too. Furthermore tiramisu, choco mousse etc. The menu was heavy on walnuts, so there’s danger my skin will be ruined tomorrow, but it was worth it 😁

Dobos torta, people.  Thin layers of sponge sandwiched with rich chocolate cream and topped with amber caramelized sugar.  FUCK.  It's actually one of the most beautiful things in the universe ever.
