A magic item for use in Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition tabletop role-playing game. This is a homebrew magic item created by Cloaks and Capes.

Bottle of Clouds

Consumable, very rare

“This bottle has a fluffy sheep on it that is floating happily through the sky. The bottle itself feels  much lighter than you would expect it to.”

This bottle contains 1d4 clouds that, when uncorked, can be poured out and solidify into the most comfortable pillows imaginable. When a creature uses one of these cloud pillows, they gain the benefits of a Long Rest in 2 hours. The cloud pillows disappear afterwards.

Potion, rare

A shimmering potion with dull colours. Smells like mint and is mostly tasteless, though some vague notes of grass and lemon can be found.

Effects: turns the drinker into a random horned animal for 1d4 hours. This effect takes 10 minutes to kick in. Roll a d20 on the horny table to see which animal the drinker turns into. Drinking multiple potions at once allows the effect to be prolonged with 1d4 hours for every potion drunk. Drinking a horny potion while already under the effect of a horny potion resets the effect: 10 minutes after the second potion is drunk, the drinker will once again turn into a random horned animal for 1d4 hours.

This potion of healing stands at 3 inches and 1.5 inches wide. The red liquid does change colors when shook to a red-orange with gold highlights. The labels on the potions are all designed by me and are tea-stained for that old-world feel. This bottle was upcycled and the corks are sealed with welders glue, then sealed with wax.

Potion of Yore Potion, uncommon

This potion is coveted by scholars and sought by those obsessed with the past. Created by powerful seers and sold at hefty prices…prices that aren’t always in gold.

When consumed you can name a time and place, or a person, place, and time. The time must be in the past and no longer than 10 years ago. When you do so, you make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the potion is destroyed and you take 2d12 psychic damage.

Past Sight: On a success, your eyes cloud over and in your mind, you see the place or person you named. The scene will follow the person you named or stayed anchored to the place named. While observing the scene your vision narrows to a 10ft radius circle. The vision lasts for 10 minutes.

Once you view a specific time you can never do so again. If you try, you must make a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or suffer a permanent -1 to your Wisdom. This can only be undone with greater restoration or with wish.

The potion is thick and leaves a milky residue on the glass. It smells strongly of incense and drinking it causes your head to throb painfully.
