              AS PER TRADITION THEY SAT ON THE EDGE OF THE QUARRY , beer being shared between the lot of them . elizabeth had been fairly quiet , watching as the others laughed and joked , sharing their resolutions . she nurses her beer , smiling while richie said something overly boisterous , eyes flickering slightly to the side when someone moved to sit next to her . 

THINGS WERE PRETTY FUCKING SIMPLE.

DAN DIDN’T FUCKING SHARE, everyone should know about that by now. yet, it was absolutely hilarious how some people didn’t get it. he didn’t parade jason around in his bike just for show. HE DIDN’T BRAND HIM for no reason, MARK . HE’S BEEN TOUCHED AND TAINTED , and he did try very hard to get this through poor little matty’s head. it didn’t work, and see he had to change his tactic. AND HE WAITS , patient, icy blue eyes linger on the path where he’s sure the little fucker will pass by. IT’S CUTE , playing pretend, letting them have their fun, but in the end , jason was his and his only- whatever little stupid fling was going to stop. AND HE WAS MAKING SURE OF IT. cigarette between lips, blowing the smoke elegantly , smile rises , predatory. HE’S GONNA SINK HIS TEETH IN. HE PASSES BY AND IT’S SHOWTIME !

        ‘ OKAY OKAY- ’ SHE CAN’T HELP THE GIGGLES . ‘ i’m gonna teach you the kind where you don’t have to heal okay ? the kind that us human’s do a lot . ’ she hummed , shifting a little from her spot in the treehouse . ‘ there’s different types too , cheek kisses , forehead kisses , nose kisses . it’s like a whole list . ’ she admitted , hands gently cupping his cheeks . ‘ we’ll start with the basic ones . forehead . ’ she gently guided his face , lips pressing gently against his forehead before she pulled away . ‘ get why it’s called a forehead kiss ? ’

IT’S THE SUMMER BREEZES THAT BRUSHES PAST HIS HAIR , when he so so quickly got out of the car, threw the keys in  . HE’S LIKE A LITTLE KID , excitedly , he slams the door close , before either of them could do something about it . HE DASHES , quickly to the stairs that lead down the beach . 

“What if I say I'm not like the others?” It’s a mumble, such a soft mumble of admission. It had been weeks since he saw Henry. Weeks since he even wanted to leave his house but here he is with Bill, hands shoved into his jacket pockets.
