Whenever Mink return home from work, he often bring something with him to give to Aoba. It range from a hawk's feather he found on the ground or a pretty coloured pebble that matches Aoba's eyes. Aoba's desk is full of collections now. But one night Mink returned late and Aoba was worried if Mink got into trouble. Turned out Mink was just busy and he forgot to bring something for Aoba. Aoba smiles and said he did receive Mink's gift as he kiss him on the cheek. He got Mink return home safely.

Mink is grumpy. He demands Aoba where he hid his glasses. Aoba motherly nag him that Mink needs a break from reading because he's been reading nonstop since morning. Mink was unhappy but agree he did lost track of time with his favourite long tales of trilogies. He was about to leave but Aoba pull him back to the couch and push Mink to lay his head on Aoba's lap. Aoba, with a blush, says, "it's nap time now. S-so close your eyes Mink. I'll wake you up when it's time to read again. U-Understand?"

Aoba and Mink were having a walk across the forest. Just enjoying each other's company. Then Aoba suddenly stop near a flower bush because pretty blue butterflies fluttering around it. Mink smiles seeing his Aoba with childlike wonder. Stepping in, Mink pick up a white flower from the bush and Aoba thought he was collecting ingredients for herbal medicine but instead he place the flower in Aoba's hair. "White suits you more than those butterflies." he chuckles as he cups Aoba's cheeks.

Managing the house and part time job, Aoba's exhaustion caught up with him. That night Mink check on the young man and saw Aoba lying on his stomach and groaning over his achy muscles. Sighing, he went to fetch a special oil and began massaging Aoba's soreness away. It felt good that Aoba fell asleep. Just when Mink's about to leave, Aoba caught his hand and plead him not to go in his sleep. Sighing again, Mink climb in the bed and hug him. "You should sleep well now, by my side..." he smiled.

It's summer and unexpectedly Aoba received a package from Tae. She sent a familiar, old ice shaving machine that's still in good shape. The letter mention she remembered how Aoba used to like ice shavings when he was a kid. When Mink arrived home, he saw Aoba happily preparing ice shavings for two people. Aoba's lips are dark pink due to the strawberry syrup. When he asks Mink which syrup he wanted for his ice shaves, Mink swoop down to kiss Aoba with a lick, "hm... I'll have what you had then."

Mink is quite ignorant about special holidays of the year or didn't care much about his own birthday but when it comes to Aoba, he present the best gift for Aoba's birthday present. Celebrating Aoba's birth because that man is the reason Mink can live his second life happily with his beloved after the success of avenging his fallen family. Valentine? he didn't need a mere chocolate to celebrate it, because he already has enough. Having Aoba by his side was enough to remind him of his happiness.

Imagine Aoba cuddling with Mink and said he really love Mink's scent. Mink was like it's just the smell of incense in the room but Aoba insist it's Mink's smell that he love so much. Then Mink chuckles and said he prefer Aoba's scent better. The younger man wonders how does he smell like and Mink explain it's a smell like the blue wind. Warm, welcoming and home.
