[pacing] some people like characterizing far/cille as Dark Twisted Yuri because of the resurrection (not super accurate imo) or as Wholesome Yuri (super super inaccurate imo). what I think is that a) the most in-character far/cille requires at least one (1) divorce arc, b) the most in-character far/cille needs marcille being clueless about OR actively rejecting her own feelings and doing some massive misconstruing/projecting/etc (hence the need for a divorce arc) and doubling down on infantilizing and Taking Care of falin when falin begins to surpass marcille in maturity, which can only be resolved by falin actually calling marcille out for that (especially if marcille is going weirdly hard on the ‘she’s like a little sister to me!’ brand of denial for their omnipresent UST). post-canon falin needs enough development to reject (rather than accept) what she doesn’t want and she needs to not be solely focused on others, post-canon marcille has the development to course-correct rather than continue doubling down but does need that wake-up divorce before they can actually progress towards a functional romance… those are my thoughts
