Here are a few photos from the 3rd annual FutureChurch Think Tank event hosted by Leonard Sweet at his compound on Orcas Island. This an alumni event for Semiotics and Future Studies Doctor of Ministry alumni and ABD students. 

The theme this year was 'TGIF (Twitter, Google, iPhone, Facebook) Ministry' with special guests John Lee Saddington, John Berquist, and Joan Ball. 

P.S. Tiffany was able to come along. Splendid. :-)

George Fox Evangelical Seminary choose to retain the term 'evangelical' in its name when Western Evangelical Seminary merged with George Fox College over 10 years ago. The term seems to be increasingly fraught with ambiguity and theological division. As a consequence, the seminary is revisiting what WE mean by our use of the term as part of our name and our identify.
