Some new game+ photos I took of Nero for art reference. Out of the Devil Trigger designs, I think I like his the best. He's so pretty!

And a couple V shots that took quick button pressing to capture. Can never remember the name of the boss in that bottom image to save my life, but the shot is one of my favorites. Along with the boss fight itself. (I love horses.)

I should buy the Vergil DLC and play again. I love this one so much.

My dumbass brain: You know maybe they took inspiration off of Virgil’s headpiece for Nero’s DT in DMCV considering both are pretty feathery and stuff

Me, being that person that tries to connect everything to one another (and in this case a reference that’s probs not intentional but still):

it’s strange how your head’s still clear when you shouldn’t be. when it comes to doing anything with nero, it’s you who has the clarity and reason. the thing is, you are very much the leash holder in this relationship, though you are content to not be one.

which is why you had asked nero to fuck you from behind, with you on all fours and him doing whatever he wanted for tonight. you remember three different locations and almost four hours of sex but neither you nor nero are even close to finishing.

it ought to worry you but you know nero has a habit of trying to reinvent himself when he’s the one making the call.

if you close your eyes and ignore his grunts and moans, he could be someone else. but you don’t feel bad, instead, you grip the sheets a little tighter as his thrusts quicken. nero’s driving himself so deep now that you want to scream. isntead, your mouth falls open and a particularly ungraceful noise rolls out.

the hot feeling in your stomach is coiling, coiling–you know this time, both of your climaxes will hit hard. instead of chasing it away, you decide to build it by pushing against nero. more, more, more you are telling him. a sheen of sweat coats your face and body, enough that even nero has trouble gripping you unless he digs his fingers in.

there is a sudden lurch to his form and you know he’s going to come any second now. you help by clenching tightly around him, hoping this will make him feel even better.

he responds by groaning out your name and burying himself deep before pausing. nero gives a grunt and you feel him coming in you before you feel another sensation surround your body. something like a small heat wave envelopes you for a split second. 

nero shifts and that’s when you notice something that’s not entirely unpleasant pulsing within you. 

“nero, your dick...did it change?” you briefly lift yourself up and hear nero’s hot breathe fan across your shoulders. the scrape of something like barbs inside you makes you moan and shudder as you move. then you turn, a shaky movement that will inevitably force you to collapse if not for a pair of large scaly hands holding you up.

when he loosens his hold you briefly wave for him to slide out of you. then you quickly turn, aligning yourself with his dick again just as you look up.

“nero?!”

a raspy snicker slips out of his throat before you feel him slide his hand into your hair. “so uh...i devil triggered.” nero’s voice is sheepish before he cracks a grin full of sharp teeth. 

there is a moment’s pause where you attempt to take in his new appearance. he looks like he has blue wings, that resemble fists at the end? and oddly enough, he doesn’t look terrifying at all. monstrous of course, but there is beauty on him.

“that’s kinda hot actually. your devil trigger, i mean,” you say quietly, body grinding back into him. “and uh, sorry to interrupt this moment of admiring you but i haven’t come yet.” 

nero then pushes himself back into you, arms curling under your legs. you respond bu wrapping it around his hips, taking special care not to move too fast lest you accidentally scratch yourself. though in the back of your mind, you realize you’ll end up with marks not from his mouth or fingers.

“who says i won’t let you come? hell, i’ll let you come however many times you want,” he says lowly. nero then leans over you until you can really take in his face. his eyes are gold, with slitted irises. a purr rumbles out from his throat as he places a soft kiss on your forehead.

he then raises himself a little and you take the time to run your hands over his chest. you swear you see the fists on his wings crack their knuckles before nero rolls his hips into you. “anyways (name), i hope you have the stamina to match me.” 

“yeah well you gotta put your entire dick in me, not just half of it,” you tell him, before a broken moan escapes your mouth.

“oh shit, well, can you take all of me?” he suddenly stops, body hovering above you as if hesitant on the idea.
