Here's another what if scenario there's a scene where Nero is in his devil trigger form is in shackles he's either in prison by the order or mundus and vergil finds Nero and moves to him kneeling in front of him gently reaching out to nero's face. Before Nero was imprisoned Nero found out that his father that vergil was once a loyal servant of mundus and vergil believed sapiens to be weak pathetic creatures even though he's half human himself he believed embracing a human side is weakness until he even went as far as to call his own mother weak. After finding this out Nero can't help but feel betrayed. Vergil try to explain but Nero is not having it. Nero clearly upset asks if vergil see as Nero as weak or doesn't even matter to Vergil but then decided he doesn't want to hear the answer Nero has already spent some time without parents he could spend the rest of his life as orphan. Vergil who's growing rather attached to his son and not wanting to lose him try to explain but Nero scream at Vergil telling not touch him as light blue electricity spread along Nero's body as his eyes flash gold.
