ok you have been best friends with the whole of Seventeen ever since their Make-up and preparations group 

On your first day of meeting them, you fiddled with your fingers behind your back as you were kind of worried they might not like you much

But out comes sweaty, hot Seokmin holding a water bottle which he was probably about to go fill up

The corners of his lips lifted into a smile and you couldn’t help but immediately feel better

“Hey, you must be the new Make-up artist! I’m so excited to meet you, I’m DK” he said with a soothing voice 

Your first impression of him, was that he was definitely a freaking sunflower. You swear the only thing you want to do around him was smile 

His smile was also so contagious and gorgeous at the same time

Since then, you’ve grown a lot closer to Seventeen, the crew and definitely Seokmin. He made you feel happy even on the most gloomy days

Seokmin taught you that a smile held more power than you could ever imagine 

You knew your feelings towards Seokmin was the opposite of platonic

But you knew he would never feel the same way as you felt for him 

he deserved someone better anyways 

so you never made any moves or express any of your feelings 

Seokmin feels the same way as you 

Ever since he first met you standing near the door

He just felt a pull towards you 

Everything with you just clicked 

the pieces of his life started falling into the right pieces 

You made him happy, made him smile, made him feel safe 

Gave him a reason to continue smiling even when he was on the verge of breaking down

To him, you were home 

But like you, he was afraid of expressing his feelings 

Scared of the rejection 

Seventeen’s tour in Japan had just ended and they were going to travel to another country in two days

They had two extra days to explore and wander about 

For the two days, Seventeen had split into three groups. Some of the crew followed other groups while you followed the group that Seokmin was in

fortunately

They had decided the groupings by using the name wheel

and when you were pick to go with him, Mingyu, Dino and Jeonghan

HOWEVER

the rest of the members kept stealing you away

When the group visited the carnival, Dino or Mingyu would drag you away to play a mini game

Jeonghan would bring you away to watch funny comedy acts

and DK was left mostly alone or with one other member, clenching his fists and biting his lips at times

This wasn’t like DK

and he didn’t know what to do

These negative emotions were kept hidden inside him

It wasn’t until the last ride

The ferris wheel, and Mingyu kept whining for you to go with him

was when DK had enough

DK grabbed you by the wrist, glaring slightly at the other members and brought you to the front of the line

You were shocked by his behaviour but didn’t say anything as his jaws were clenched tight

The both of you sat in an awkward silence before you turned slowly to look at DK pouting and fiddling with his fingers

He looked like a smoll child that did something wrong

“i’m sorry Y/n, i-i didn’t mean to drag you away. I just, just wanted to spend time alone with you for once tonight” He mumbled the last part

Your eyes widened and you giggled at his answer

“Seokmin, were you...jealous?” you asked

“Okay! i was kind of, just kinda jealous of them. They kept stealing you away!” He pouted

You intertwined your fingers with his warm hand and smiled warmly at him showing that you were fine

Your smile gave DK the courage to finally confess

He knew he wanted to do something about it

and he know for you, he would be willing sacrifice anything

“Y/n, i have to tell you something”

you hummed and turned your head from the windows to face him

“i kinda have feelings for you. You’re beautiful in every single way. Inside and out, and the way you to care of us and treat others with the same amount of care” Seokmin spoke, his hand holding yours tighter.

Your pulse started picking up and your heart rate increased.

This was what you wished for the past couple of months

“I like you and i would love to take you out” Seokmin said, eyes staring into yours

You were frozen for a few second and Seokmin got a little nervous

“It’s okay if you don’t feel the same way Y/n, you’re still important to me” Seokmin whispered, brushing a stray hair from your face

You shook your head quickly, “DK, I-i like you too. For so long, i’ve always assumed you would never like me back” Your eyes watered slightly as the confession tumbled out

“I’m so happy” DK whispered and hugged you tightly, kissing you on both cheeks

They had planned this perfectly to make DK jealous
