Pat McGrath Divine Skin Rose 001 The Essence works to replenish moisture and support the skin’s barrier leaving your skin prepared for flawless makeup application. Key Ingredients: - Rose-Biotic complex made of rose water and petal extract to help calm and rebalance the skin barrier - HydraSphere 18 a combination of oils and enriched in lipids/Vitamin E that nourish and replenish moisture levels to smooth and soften the skin Texture/Scent: - Milky, lightweight. Has a rose scent, I don’t find it to be overpowering The first thing that comes to mind for most when they hear Pat McGrath is cosmetics. I had no idea Pat McGrath Labs had a skincare line so I was excited to be able to try their Divine Skin Essence. This is a biphase essence that seamlessly blends the milky HydraSphere18 and the watery Rose-Biotic Complex when shaken to create a lightweight milky essence that fills like silk on the skin. I found that it absorbs well into the skin but it does leave a slight tacky feeling behind. It definitely gives the complexion a instant dewy glow without the skin appearing to shiny or oily. What I like most about this Essence is that it helps my skin to better absorb the rest of my routine leaving my skin visibly more plump. It gives the skin a great boost of hydration that helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. I’ve been enjoying the essence and if you can make a splurge I absolutely think it’s worth a try. I would recommend more to those with dull and dehydrated skin. If you have oily skin I would use this as a moisturizer and not a toner. PROS: ✅ Gentle.
