          one of the few mercies that a human had was the freedom of their mind. anyone could take what they wanted, but they could never, truly, take away another’s ability to dream. a mind’s construction was entirely a person’s own. even if the circumstances that be could make it hard to use one’s imagination.

                 when  she  returns  to  your  side,    you  are  met  with  more  than  expected:       truthfully,    you  are  more  shocked  than  you  should  be   (   it  is  her,   is  it  not?   ).    you’d  only  looked  away  from  her  a  moment,   to  take  in  the  sights,   &   like  that,   you  had  missed  what  could  have  prepared  you  for  such  a  situation.     however  caught  off  guard  you  are,    try  to  handle  it  with  grace:     take  the  plant  from  her  gently,   hold  it  ‘tween  forefinger  &  thumb.    one  moment  she  was  dragging  you  along  by  your  elbow,   &  the  next,    she  has  brought  you  a  piece  of  beauty  you  would  never  of  imagined  outside  gristonne;    perhaps  you  had  interjected  with  your  own  thoughts  too  often  and  this  is  to  quell  your  homesick  heart,    or,   it  is  another  experience  she  is  offering  in  all  her  enthusiasm  to  show  off  this  place.      regardless,    you  are  grateful   to  bear  witness.

ok first of all i just want to say that i love l’arachel she is arguably my favorite character in fe8 despite the fact that i’ve never played fe8 but she has so much personality and i rly love her for it + I LOVE UR L’ARACHEL !!!!!           a surprised squeak ( blended with a wince of pain that she tried so hard to hide ) tumbles from the young woman’s lips as her darling friend’s arms wrap tightly around her bandaged torso. the wound, in truth, had been a minor one—it was eirika’s own negligence that had allowed it to worsen, thus causing the worry of her allies. that was something that she could never forgive herself for.

          how funny that in her attempts to keep from troubling them, eirika had done just that ?? 

             ❛    i was loath to voice my thoughts on the matter,      but since you’ve already done so ... ...     i fear you may be right.     ❜           and it’s frustrating,     to say the very least;     could not one trust the word of another at all,     in this day and age?     they’d followed the directions of the seemingly-genuine village dweller to a tee,     and yet they now found themselves going in circles upon circles,     to and fro betwixt the trees,     a never-ending cycle.     at this rate,     they’d never get to their destination,     much less leave the damned forest that taunted them at every turn.     irate,     his hands fall sharply upon his hips,     and his eyes narrow in frustrated thought.                   ❛    a curse upon the fool that sent us this way,     though even that would be too good for the likes of such a person.     -- what shall we do now,     lady l'arachel?    ❜
