In S2E4: “Momentum Deferred,” Olivia Dunham is sent on a mission by Sam Weiss. She is to collect business cards from all people wearing red and then decode a message from them. The message she discovers is: You’re gonna be fine.
Directions:
Determine the attribute of those you will collect business cards from.
Determine a time frame in which to collect multiple business cards.
Collect one card from each person with the given attribute during the time frame.
Place the cards before you and circle letters that you are drawn to.
Unscramble the letters.
Notes:
The attribute can be anything about the person. Preferably it will be something very simple and that can be found on any person regardless of race, sex, orientation, or status. It could be a particular word in a sentence. Or if they have visible buttons. Be creative.
The time frame should be long enough to collect several cards.
If the letters do not form a comprehensible word, then you must either give up, or you must eliminate some letters. In the end, the word or words will likely be something you need to hear.

If you don't mind my asking though...I'm new to divination of all kinds and don't quite understand why you getting a clear picture so quickly would be impressive because of me? Would it not be more of a testament to your skill? Either way, thank you for being impressed with me haha :P

To answer your question, when I'm doing readings for other people I'm not just using my own energy to find an answer. my energy is like the path that your energy goes down to find what you need to know. without the path the answer would be difficult if not impossible to find but you're the one doing the finding not me. then after you've found the answer my energy and intuition acts like a tour guide to help you interpret and understand what you've found. so more in sync your energy is with mine the faster I get an answer. If our energies don’t work well together i could sit for hours and hours and only get a vague answer or i could get nothing at all. This is especially when I’m stone scrying or doing pendulum work as I find cards tend to be less picky about how you phrase questions.
so yes some of it is my skill because if I couldn't find and channel your energy I couldn’t answer any questions. that being said, for me doing readings is something that we do together and when I click with someone like I clicked with you it makes using my skill very easy :)
I'm not sure if all that makes any sense at all xD also I'm sure this isn't the way everyone who practices divination does things it's just the way things flow best for me. figuring out the best way for you to find answers and divine the future is part of the fun of learning.
