                     This was the last place she had ever seen herself ending up. Sure, she understood that with her and her family’s proclivities, it was something that very well could have happened, but  she had not expected it to be so soon. As the door opened, she looked up to see the FBI agent Reid. Though most girls her age would be fearful, such was not the case for her. Very little scared her anymore, and this certainly did not make the cut. A brow raised in a questioning manner as she leaned forward.

       THIS QUESTION HAS BROUGHT HER IMMENSE STRESS. Yes, divorce has been heavy on her mind.

IT’S A RARE THING  for  their  paths   -   their  travels   -   to  overlap.    spencer  with  his  constant  cases,    the  constant  horror  of  a  vindictive  world   &&   maeve  with  her  need  to  simply  keep  moving:   lecturing  at  university  after  university,    never  staying  still  enough  to  do  more  than  post  a  couple  of  letters.    time  is  rarely  kind,    but  her  scars  have  been  healing,    hair  carefully styled  to  hide  the  damage  left  to  pale  skin  as  the  stubborn  breeze  attempts  to  move  her  fringe  aside.    ❝  I’d  like  to  think  all  love  leaves  echoes,   ghosts,   across  the  world.  ❞    warmth  radiates  from  more  than  her  mug,    peach  lips  curving  into  a  genuine  smile:    she’s  missed  him.     but  he  surely  knows  that,   green  eyes  vibrant  as  she  takes  her  time  sipping  the  still  boiling  coffee  and  watching  those  passing  by  on  the  street.
