[Misty]

Misty left Nibs with Luna and grabbed the gift she had bought for TJ with her. She walked onto the ship and moved to the cabin she knew he was staying in before knocking on the door. She pushed her hair out of her face as she knocked on it again. After a couple of minutes, she was going to knock again before someone came up and told her TJ wasn’t home. They told her he had gone on a mission earlier and no one knew when he would be back. 

She sighed and she knew better than to leave his gift just out for anyone to grab, so she kept it with her and started to walk away. She didn’t get far though as she ran into someone, “Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention. Sorry.” 

[Dylan]

Dylan had been on the ship visiting as he accidentally felt someone running into him. “Shit so-Misty?” He asks as he recognizes the voice. “What are you doing here?” 

[Misty]

Misty looked up and saw Dylan and she was surprised to see him on the ship. She was surprised to see him at all; she couldn’t even remember the last time they saw each other. “Um hi.” She said before hearing his question. “Oh I was…” 

She looked down at the presents in her hand and pushed her feelings to the side as she looked at him with a smile. “Just picking some gifts up. I should be heading home, it was really nice seeing you. Merry Christmas.” Misty said before walking past him. 

[Dylan]

Dylan raised a brow, “picking some gifts up? From someone on the ship? When they say ‘to TJ’ on them?” He asks while noticing the name tag. “I can let you into his room and you can leave them on his bed if you want. That way he can have them when he gets back from his mission.” He tells her. 

[Misty]

“Yeah…I…well…what I meant by picking up is just that…” She stopped as she heard his offer. “Oh I don’t know. That…he wouldn’t…there might be things he doesn't want me to see and you know he’s an adult now so…I’ll just wait.” 

[Dylan]

“Okay, well do you want me to put it in his room for you then? If you don’t want to see what is in his room for yourself.” He tells her. “I mean you came all the way out here with the present.” 

[Misty]

“I really wanted to see him but, maybe it’s for the best that we didn’t run into each other. He probably doesn’t want to see me. The last time he came to the castle he asked for me but…yes if you see him will you give it to him? He doesn’t have to keep it. I left the receipt in the bag. Maybe I should put some extra money in, in case he wants to buy something else and it’s more money.” She said handing Dylan the gift and pulling out her wallet.

[Dylan]

Dylan shook his head, “I am sure that what you got him will be more than enough MIsty. Don’t worry about it.” He tells her as he takes the gift. “I will make sure to give it to him. And I will tell him you stopped by.” He offers her a reassuring smile. 

[Misty]

“Oh okay.” She smiled as she stopped to look at him. “Um will you…you also say Nibs was with me? He would be but it’s Christmas and I didn’t want Luna to be by herself. Besides, the gift is from both of us.”

[Dylan]

“Yeah I can tell him that. I figured he was probably home with Luna anyway. The ship isn’t really the safest place for a baby to be. Speaking of which, how is she? It’s been a while since I have seen both of you. I um…I got you and the family a present. I mean you don’t have to accept it or anything but I figured it was Christmas so…and it’s nothing too big either. It’s just a way to pay homage to our friendship from when we first met.” He says while snapping his fingers and handing her the somewhat big gift bag. 

[Misty]

Misty smiled happily as he agreed, “Thank you.” She replied before nodding, “Right, well she’s fine. She doesn’t cry when I hold her now, which is good. It’s a little different because we are raising her out of the castle so I am still getting used to play dates and everything.” She told him. “Oh you didn’t have to do that, I didn’t get you anything.” 

Misty took the gift bag and opened it before taking one of the stuffed penguins out. “I remember these…this is…thank you Dylan. It’s really sweet.”

[Dylan]

“Yeah she was getting better at that when you were with me during that whole drama thing. I am sure it is a lot less stressful since you get to spend more time with her and don’t have to worry about having the castle obligations. It’s okay, I didn’t expect you to get me anything. I am just happy to be able to catch up.” He smiles. 

“Yeah I saved those from when we first met, I didn’t really know what to do with them anymore. I sort of just had them around but since Sophie is grown up and they were just sitting on a shelf I figured that you could use them for Luna. She did love staring at them when she came to visit as well so…now they are yours.” 

[Misty]

She placed the penguin back in the bag before looking at him, “Thank you. It means a lot to me. You helped me with all that Ryan thing and it might seem small, but this really helped.” She told him. “It was really nice seeing you too Dylan.” She smiled. “Any holiday plans?”

[Dylan]

“Um I don’t really have anything planned for the holidays. I figured I would just sit at home and enjoy some hot chocolate by a nice warm fire. I think Sophie might be coming home from school to spend it with me but I am not sure.”

[Misty]

“Um…well Nibs thinks I’m with TJ so I have some time to spare. I know a really good place in town if you want to get some hot chocolate together? We don’t have to if you don’t want to…I just thought I would offer.”

[Dylan]

“I would love to but I don’t want you to get in trouble with Nibs and all. I know he doesn’t like you seeing me or being around me. But if you are sure it would be fine then I could always go for a cup of hot chocolate.” He smiles. 

[Misty]

“As long as I’m not out too late and I never told him TJ wasn’t home so…he won’t know. Besides, you gave me a gift for the family. The least I can do is make sure you don’t spend Christmas completely alone.” She assured him. “Shall we go?”

[Dylan]

“Sure. Lead the way.” He smiles while gesturing for her to go first. “I mean did you want to drop off your present at home so you don’t have to bring it with us? I can always drop this one off at my house for when I return back to the ship when TJ is around.” He offers up. 

[Misty] 

“Oh no, if I bring it home and then you’re with me that might be…Ellie and Tommy are coming home too and no offense I don’t think they like you very much.” She told him. “So we can just go now, I don’t mind carrying the gift.” She said as she started walking off the ship.

[Dylan]

“Yeah that is understandable. Okay then we can just go for cocoa now then.” He smiles as he follows her off the ship. “I heard about what happened with Hope and Zach and that whole in-laws' mess. I assume they are okay after all that? It seemed like a lot based on what I had heard from people.” 

[Misty]

Misty walked with Dylan and she thought about how to respond, “I think they are dealing with it. It’s hard to say if they are okay, a lot has changed for them in such a short amount of time and they aren’t very good at communicating with us if they need help. I honestly don’t know.”

[Dylan]

“Well sometimes it’s hard to ask for help especially if you aren’t really sure how someone can help if you need help. It can be a lot and with what they went through especially with it being within the family and not actually being something to do with a demon. It’s probably just different. I am sure they will get through it though, they have already been through so much too.” He says while putting his hands into his pockets. 

[Misty]

“It’s not that I’m worried if they will make it through it, I’m just worried about…they are a very possessive couple. Charlie and Rose are just figuring each other out, adding Hope and Zach into that makes things a little messy.” She replied. “And things aren’t over just because Zach took his old job back. It’s always something.”

[Dylan]

“Yeah they seem pretty resilient about everything and yeah they are pretty possessive of each other. There always seems to be something going on for someone don’t you think? It’s what keeps the island interesting I guess. Never a dull moment.” 

[Misty]

“Sometimes I would like a dull moment. I think I’ve earned one.” She joked as they walked into town. “Thank you for asking about them though. You didn’t have to do that. I know Hope hurt Ken and I know she…well her and Ombra have messed with you too.”

[Dylan]

“Yeah sometimes it would be nice to have a break from everything around here. But now that you two are away from the castle hopefully things will be less stressful.” He smiles. “I want to make sure you are okay and all after everything that we have been through and all that. Yeah Ken is…well yeah Ombra messes with everyone though, it seems some more than others.” He shrugged. 

[Misty]

She smiled at his words. “I’m okay. I’m happy which feels weird to say…it’s like I’m finally at peace.” Misty walked into the cafe and waited for the hostess before smiling. “Table for two please.” She said before hearing the hostess mention the table in the back would be perfect for a romantic night and that someone would be with them soon. “Oh he’s not…we’re not…um thank you.” She blushed as she walked to the back of the cafe.

[Dylan]

Dylan smiled at her words. “It’s cute that she thinks we are a cute couple.” He teases with a smile. “I am glad that you are finally happy though. I think most of the reasons for the unhappiness were from the castle. That place has a weird vibe. I don’t know if it’s from the magic of the island or something else but it doesn’t seem like any other castle that I had visited before if I am being honest.” 

[Misty]

“She didn’t say we were cute.” She laughed as she sat down. “Hm that’s funny, Tommy said something like that too. I just…I don’t know. Nibs and I were very different from what they were used to. I am sure that didn’t help. But we don’t have to talk about the castle. We’ve talked about me enough. What about you? Are you happy?”

[Dylan]

“Yeah but sometimes change is good, you know?” He smiles. “I am fine. I have been learning to be more independent and not having to rely so much on just one person. It’s rather nice to be just in my own little world sometimes but I definitely miss the companionship. I was thinking about getting a pet to keep me company but I don’t know what kind of pet I would get. I was thinking maybe a puppy but I am not sure.” He says as he notices the waitress coming over to take their order. 

[Misty]

“Oh you are always free to visit the sanctuary and see if you like any of the baby animals there. We have a puppy and it’s…a lot of work.” She smiled. “But if I didn’t have Waddles I would have been alone and I…” She stopped as she looked at the waitress. “Did you want to go first Dylan?”

[Dylan]

Dylan nods his head as he orders some hot chocolate for the both of them. “Feel free to get whatever you want, it's on me.” He smiles before waiting for her to order. Once the waitress walked away, he turned his attention back to Misty. “What were you saying about Waddles?” 

[Misty]

“Oh that’s all for me, thank you.” She smiled before hearing his question. “No, I was just going to say I almost lost him. When I was with Finn, Waddles and him didn’t get along at all and I was just too focused on everything else to see how unhappy he was.”

[Dylan]

“Well you don’t have to worry about losing Waddles anymore. Waddles never did like anyone other than Nibs and you mostly. I am pretty sure it’s just because you two were the ones that raised him.” He explains. 

[Misty]

“Well that’s not true. He liked you when we were staying with you. He likes who protects me and doesn’t hurt me. Sure he’s not your biggest fan now after all that with my father, but he did like you.”

[Dylan]

“Yeah I guess he did. It’s been so long since I saw him I must have forgotten.” He shrugged before leaning back in his chair. 

[Misty]

“I think you just like assuming people don’t like you.” She said softly. She placed the gift bag on the chair next to her and pushed her hair out of her face.

[Dylan]

“No, it’s just the fact that most people don’t really get off on the right foot with me.” He explains with a shrug. 

[Misty]

“Does anyone really get off on the right foot with anyone one this island?” She asked before the waitress brought their drinks. “Thank you.”

[Dylan]

“I am sure the odds are at least one person must have gotten off on the right foot, don't you think? I mean if everyone didn’t I think we would all have a lot more pressing matters.” He says before thanking the waitress who brought them their drinks. 

[Misty]

“Hm I don’t know, not a lot of people liked me when we first met. Well I guess besides Nibs and Noah. They were both really nice when I met them.”

[Dylan]

“I think all the girls at camp liked you from what I heard. I don’t know, maybe they were just jealous that you had all the guys falling head over heels for you.” He shrugged before taking a sip from his hot chocolate. 

[Misty]

“Hm? I don’t know who told you that.” She laughed softly as she grabbed her mug. “A lot of the guys thought I was annoying. I am sure it bothered me at the time, but now not so much. It was so long ago.”

[Dylan]

“Well still you have a lot of people who would want your attention. Why do you think Nibs got so upset when they hit on you? I mean, he even banned us from hanging out because there were feelings involved at some point.” 

[Misty]

“Nibs has no room to talk, all of the lost girls hit on him everyday. And he slept with them too so…it’s fair.” She smiled before shaking her head. “He banned us for seeing each other because I had your heart.”

[Dylan]

“Yeah but you had feelings even before you had my heart so still. I mean he did all that while he was single. I think once he actually realized it was you he wanted he stopped doing all that from what I heard. But I could be wrong. I am just going off what I hear whenever I am around.” He shrugged nonchalantly. 

[Misty]

“Hm I did.” She nodded before taking a sip of her drink. “That’s what he says.” She said before taking off her coat and placing it on the chair. 

[Dylan]

Dylan raised a brow as he saw her outfit. “I um…wow you look really pretty in that dress. It had a lot of holes though and showed a lot of skin.” He clears his throat slightly as he tries to divert his eyes and focus on his cup. 

[Misty]

Misty was confused about why he was describing the dress. “Um thank you I guess?” She replied laughing a little. “I still get sent dresses designers want me to wear so people see them, I got this one yesterday so.” She shrugged. “I like it.” She said taking another sip. 

[Dylan]

“T-They sent you that dress to wear? But you don’t stay at the castle anymore? I mean I get the whole wearing them out but Nibs rarely ever lets you out of the house and it’s a miracle he isn’t here now.”

[Misty]

“Nibs let’s me out…I don’t need his permission to go outside. I’m not locked in our house.” She said, pushing her drink away as she looked at Dylan. “Can I ask you something?” 

[Dylan]

“Sure, you can ask me whatever you want.” He tells her as he took a sip from his drink. 

[Misty]

“You…when…when you um…have sex with someone for the first time how do you…get them adjusted to your size?” 

[Dylan]

Dylan choked on his drink when he heard her words. “S-Sorry what?” He asks while looking at her. “Uh…you just have to prep someone a lot I suppose. Use some toys to work your way up to the size of well you know…”

[Misty]

“No I…well I have been avoiding having sex with Nibs and I don’t even think he has noticed because I…I won’t be used to his size. He hasn’t even…he has tried but he hasn’t asked why I keep saying no.”

[Dylan]

“Well, he doesn’t seem like someone who would push you to do it if you don’t seem to be in the mood for it. But then again you both have magic for that and if anything, he can just absorb some of the pain when you do have sex. It’s not something you should be afraid of though.” 

[Misty]

“I’m not afraid. I…I do want to. Obviously. It’s just that when it’s been a while Nibs gets…it gets passionate.” She said before sighing. “I just know if I bring it up he will get all scared to touch me and then I’ll never hear the end of it and I just…I just wanted to know what you do.”

[Dylan]

“Well when I was with Sam, he used to use toys before we actually had sex. So maybe…maybe you could use some that could help you adjust a bit more before you two you know…maybe he won’t be scared to touch you. I mean yeah he might have in the past but maybe that changed now that you two aren’t in the castle.” 

[Misty]

Misty couldn’t help but laugh at his suggestion. “I…I am not allowed to use toys.” She said before blushing slightly. “I just…wonder how long before he says something. Is that normal? If we were together and we weren’t having sex would you ask why?”

[Dylan]

“Oh right he hides them from you. Well yeah I would be slightly concerned but we have more than just a physical connection. So as long as we are emotionally okay, I don’t see why we would have to necessarily be worried about physically being okay right away. If it lasted more than a few weeks then yeah I would think something was up. But people can become busy for days at a time, so it’s rather normal not to be having sex for a few days.” 

[Misty]

“It’s um…been a few months.” She said before groaning. “We did get busy but I just…I thought he would mention it or it would become a problem and it hasn’t and I love him for that, but…I…”

[Dylan]

“Well if you want to talk to him about it then you should. Otherwise you know I am more than happy to help you out with that.” He smirked. “But I am sure you both will work it out.” Dylan says before hearing her phone ringing and Nibs’ picture popping up. “Speak of the devil.”

[Misty]

She blushed at his words and opened her mouth to say something before seeing Nibs’ name on her phone. “Oh um…I should have paid attention to the time…um…” She shifted before grabbing her phone.

[Dylan]

“Go ahead. I am sure he is worried about you.” He gestures to the phone. 

[Misty]

Misty looked at her phone and pressed ignore before sliding her jacket on. “I’m going to just walk home.” She said before looking at Dylan. “Thanks for the gifts.”

[Dylan]

“Did you want me to walk back with you? It’s on my way anyway.” He says with a shrug after getting up himself. 

[Misty]
