There was a community dog market event and we were on the demo dog team for obedience and rally.
I am so pleased and delighted at how hard thorn worked. There’s a market surrounding everything. We share a fence with agility and another fence with scent dog. There were loud speakers and inappropriate dogs and the general public and so many new and novel experiences. And yet he performed his four ring demos and then little mini demos during Q&A. He went all over the event and a little excited pulling to cock on trees or go swimming but was otherwise lovely and showed so much self control.
He was such a lovely ambassador for the breed and I’m so proud of him. Enjoy a shitty screenshot of my shitty video of him doing his first ever offlead Rally in such conditions.
lots of little things to work on with weaves and our tandem teamwork but there always is. But I’m really happy with what I’m seeing develop.
