🚨 KC-135 STRATOTANKERS SET TO RETURN TO THE SKIES! ✈️⛽

Great news for military aviation enthusiasts!

The U.S. Air Force has confirmed that all six KC-135 Stratotankers damaged during Operation Epic Fury are expected to be repaired and returned to operational service. According to Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach, several aircraft have already resumed flying, while the most heavily damaged tankers may require one to two years of repairs before returning to the fleet.

Despite being more than six decades old, the legendary KC-135 Stratotanker continues to serve as the backbone of America's aerial refueling force, extending the range and endurance of fighters, bombers, reconnaissance aircraft, and transport fleets around the globe.

This latest update highlights the remarkable durability of the Stratotanker and the dedication of the maintenance crews working tirelessly to keep these iconic aircraft mission-ready.

This year marks the 50th anniversary since McDonnell Douglas rolled out its iconic first generation of the F-15 eagle.
