Downloading the newest Windows 10 Feature Update? (latest May Update as of this posting) Planning to? Some stuff you should do before restarting your computer and finishing the install: 1: Download and install Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) 2: Download (but do not install) either the latest display drivers for your graphics card or redownload your current ones if you're having no issues with what you're currently using. 3: Install the Win 10 update as normal. Make sure to set aside some time. 4: After the update's installed, reboot in Safe Mode. (REMEMBER your login password, if you made one) There are multiple means of rebooting in safe mode, I do not recommend MSConfig though as if you go that route and something goes south with safe mode (like you forgot your password) you're fucked. 5: In safe mode, run DDU and have it uninstall your display drivers. The process is pretty easy and newb-friendly. Also, make sure to have DDU set Windows to not automatically download and install drivers, or you might have some issues. 6: Reboot in normal mode if DDU didn't do so automatically. 7: Install the display drivers you downloaded in Step 2. 8: Reboot one more time, even if the installer doesn't tell you to. Just to be safe. 9: ??? 10: Profit.
