Fairytales Inspired Generations Challenge

This challenge purpuse is to make you think of the game differently and maybe explore all the functions and game play option without being stuck in the same circle of actions. This challenge is completely made up by myself, taking inspiration both by Generation Challenge and Legacy Challenge. Also, there are a lot of Disney themed challenge around and I don't want simply create a copy-paste version of Disney characters, so the whole thing is my own interpretation of Disney classics and traditional fairytales too. The goal is to make it through 10 generations with completely different personalities for each generation and a new challenge to complete with each set of children.

Every generation has a set of mini-challenges Ispired by a Disney character that you have to complete before you finish the generation. You have to complete at least 4 of the 5 before the original parent of the generation dies AND the heir grows into a young adult. If your heir is the first born you have less time to complete the challenges ahead.

Each generation is different from the previous one and to the entire personality of the children in it. The challenges may grow harder, or may grow easier. You DO NOT have to do the challenges in order. I will name every required expansion pack or game pack that you need to pass through the theme of the challenge.

Gameplay Setup

Your journey begins in Create a Sim (CAS). Here you begin making your sim. Do whatever you want, the only restrictions is that the founder should be a young adult female and the only sim in the household. Feel free to pick any traits you want, but remember genetics aren't the only thing passed down from generation from generation. You can set your sim's life expectation to LONG, so you have more time to do each task, if you want.

You can’t use FREEREAL ESTATE to obtain a better house for your sim. You should use the money you have to buy a cheap house or an empty lot. You can't use the story mod to create your sim: the founder must start with 0 ability and develop them from the beginning.

Gender/Blood Rules for the HEIR

First Born — The first born child is the heir.

Female Only — Females can only be heirs, unless there are no living female children.

Blood Relation — Direct descendant of the parents, unless there are no living blood relation children.

Basic Rules

No restarting after a bad event. If your HEIR deceased, you will pass to the next one in line following the above criteria to fix the unexpected events.

No cheats/mods that make give you an unfair advantage: don't fix your sim's mood with cheats and absolutely DON'T USE THE MOTHERLODE CHEAT AT ALL!

No bringing the dead back, you CAN plead the with the reaper though and have ghosts, but nothing else.

Anti-aging potion can only be used once per generation.

You can only have one played household in the world. You can add households in the world for friends, but not spouses.

The next generation starts when the first female child is born. You can do whatever you would like with the other children of the household (kids who aren't heirs).

You MAY NOT influence gender.

Any Sim that is abducted by aliens and becomes pregnant has a choice of keeping the child, but whatever your heir rules are may or may not become an heir.

1. Cinderella - Jillie Cinder

The founder generation has started with this sim named Jillie Cinder: she is a good-heated girl who is just escaped from a bad family situation and dreams for a fresh start.

Rules:

- Your CINDERELLA loves small animals, so she should have at least one animal related trait: Animal Enthusiast, Cat or Dog Lover. Traits comes from The Sims 4: Cottage Living and The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs.

- Your CINDERELLA must have the Good trait.

Task:

- Your CINDERELLA must reach Level 10 Painting: it's the easiest way to get money to support your family, because your sim can't have a job. ✅

- Your CINDERELLA must maximize her positive reputation: the highest level is Good. ✅ This comes with The Sims 4 Get Famous

Alternative: Friend to the World Life Goal

- Your CINDERELLA must take care of an animal from puppy to elder: this could be a cat, a dog or a chicken from The Sims 4: Cottage Living. If your animal dies before reaching the elder state, you must restart with another one.

- Your CINDERELLA must have at least two daughters. One of them should be Father Winter's daughter. Father Winter (Clement Frost) comes from The Sims 4: Seasons. ✅

- Your CINDERELLA daughters DON'T have the same father.

- Your CINDERELLA must maximize the Entrepreneur skill. This comes from The Sims 4: High School Years. Knitting Cross-stitch are useful to make easy money by selling creation in shop or online.

- Your CINDERELLA must marry a Sim who has a Political Career. This comes with The Sims 4: City Living. The Sims 4: Royalty & Legacy adds the "Noble Career": an option for your Cinderella is marry a Sim with the Prince* title

*When Sims receive a noble title due to their parents' career, they will always be known as Lord, Lady, or Lordem. Except if their parent is a Rank 10 Noble; in this case, they will be known as Prince, Princess, or Princem. Nobles through marriage receive the same title as their spouse.

2. Frozen - Elsa Frost

Rules:

- Your ELSA must have ”Father Winter’s Baby” listed in her traits panel: she is born from your CINDERELLA and Father Winter. ✅

- You ELSA must be the eldest daughter. She has a sister ANNA (who owns a Llama farm or a ranch with her husband - Rancher or Horse Lover would be good traits for husband - social trait introduced in The Sims 4: Horse Ranch), who doesn't have the same father of ELSA. ANNA doesn't have the ”Father Winter’s Baby” listed in her traits panel. (You need The Sims 4: Seasons)

- ELSA must live in Mt. Koreobi and Master at least one of the skills of The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.

Traits:

- Your ELSA must have the Gloomy trait, while her sister ANNA must have the Cheerful trait. Loner traits is also a good option.

- Ambitious or Overachiever (comes from The Sims 4: High School Years) are good choice for her traits.

Task:

- Your ELSA must become a Witch in her teen years and learn all the spells (this would be modified later). Yuo need The Sims 4: Realm of Magic.

- Your ELSA must had a troubled childhood and a bad reputation she must overcome.

- ELSA is a self-made woman, she can help in her mother's shop, but she must have a part-time job since her teen years. She must have a Overachiever trait (comes with The Sims 4: High School Years).

- ELSA must graduate in (at least) one of the following: History (Distinguished Degrees in Britechester) or Economics (Distinguished Degree in Foxbury). Elsa must maximize her Research and Debate skill, if she is admitted in Britechester she must join the The Debate Guild. This is available with The Sims 4: Discover University.

- ELSA career options are Civil Designer or politician. The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle and The Sims 4: City Living. Option: Noble Career from The Sims 4: Royalty & Legacy

- Close Knit Lifestyle and/or Workaholic Lifestyle. This comes from The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.

3. Snow White - Blanca

Trait:

- She must have the Party Animal and Dance Machine trait and be a Vegetarian.

Rules:

- Daughter of ANNA and her husband. She grow up in a Llama farm with her family. Has a troubled relationship with her parents, but deeply loves her aunt ELSA.

- She starts as human, but would be vampirized in her teens. Good Vampire Aspiration. The description of Snow-White as a “little daughter who was as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as ebony wood” made me think of vampire, so Snow-White will be a vampire. You need The Sims 4: Vampire.

Task:

- Move here to Windenburg. This town would welcome her well. We want a Gothic vibe here.

- She must have at least 8 best friends (the dwarves) and join a club - the Garden Gnomes (The Sims 4: Get Together) would be perfect, but you have freedom of choice.

- Neighborhood Confidante, Friend of the World or Party Animal would be an ideal life aspiration to complete.

- At a some point she ended up in a bad relationship, but has a daughter, RAPUNZEL.

- She married an ambitious/evil vampire lady: the vampire lady is not RAPUNZEL mother, she is a step-mother.

- Dies before becoming an elder. Her daughter should be in her childhood/teen years.

4. Rapunzel - Ranya

Trait:

- Socially Awkward (comes with The Sims 4: High School Years) or Clumsy. Goofball would be OK too.

Rules:

- Raised by her vampire step-mother, that uses her as a source of blood.

- Unhappy childhood, dreams of the world outside, but she too scared to run away.

Task:

- She must be a programmer and maximize the programming skill.

- Perfectly Pristine

- Indoorsy Lifestyle. This comes from The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.

5. Beauty and The Beast - Belle

- married to a werewolf

- Booklover trait

- Maximize writing skill

6. Red Riding Hood - Rosette

- daughter of a werewolf (you need The Sims 4: Werewolves)

- search for cure - Cure Seeker

7. Frog Princess - Tyane

- famous chef and/or restaurant owner (The Sims 4: Go To Work - The Sims 4: Dine Out)

- Foodie trait

- Master Chef or Master Mixologist, but also Expert Nectar Maker (The Sims 4: Horse Ranch), Appliance Wiz or Market Magnate (The Sims 4: Home Chef Hustle)

- lives in Sulani

- married a triton (The Sims 4: Island Living)

8. Little Mermaid - Arlette

Task:

- Trait: Child of the Ocean - Child of the Island (The Sims 4: Island Living)

- She dreams to be a singer and escape from the small island she grown up in: maximize a musical ability (piano, guitar, violin, ecc.) and Singing. (The Sims 4: City Living)

- She must start her career singing and playing guitar for money in San Myshumo, so move her away when she became a young adult. (The Sims 4: City Living)

- Become famous Musical Genius - City Native (The Sims 4: City Living) - World-Famous Celebrity (The Sims 4: Get Famous)

9. Peter Pan - Tinkerbell (twins/siblings?)

Creature: alien (You need The Sims 4: Go To Work) or fairy

- Since it's gen. 9, there is a gender twist: the heir, Peter, must be a male | Tinkerbell a female

Profession: scientist - engeneer graduate or biology (The Sims 4: Discover University)

Skills: logic, rocket and reach Sixam

Traits: noncommittal, childish and erratic.

His wife divorced from him and moves away with children - incompatible traits (Wendy)

10. Pinocchio or Dr. Frankenstein

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley captivated and horrified readers with a novel many consider to be the genesis of the science fiction genre, the tale of a conceited scientist who builds a man, brings him to life, and then rejects his own creation for not looking pretty enough. Victor Frankenstein’s greatest sin is not that he builds the creature, but the fact that he sees the man he made as a creature and shirks responsibility for his monstrous-seeming child.

Trait: Genius - Loner - Snob

Some creepy gore. This one is Renaissance Sim, Master Maker (The Sims 4: Ecoliving) , Computer Whiz

Our heir, a male, is a privilege kid, so his profession would be Landlord (The Sims 4: For Rent). He is wealthy and snob. Doesn't care about others. He is smart, well-educated. An engeneer like his father. Being a nepo-baby gave him this sense of superiority that alienated him from society.

Belle was up next. I accidentally deleted the entire sim as I finished making her so I had to re-make her. Luckily I like this version more! The poofy gown/original outfit I have her in I didn’t add gloves to, to make it accessible for people who don’t want to download sets of CC for belle. (Which is basically all there is) The other two outfits require sets but I’m in love wither her village outfit! Enjoy!

Sul Sul! I am so excited to share my current build project! I am currently working on filling every town with Disney Houses and sims.The very best way to start this off is with my favorite Disney Princess Snow White! 

 I decided to give Snow White a cottage because it just seemed to fit her so perfectly. I opted not to include the seven dwarfs or prince charming in order to focus on the princess herself and her aesthetic.

The above picture and the next two are of  the living room/foyer. I really wanted to use the Red and Blue color scheme of her dress in the design of the house. I used a mix of  wood tones on the furniture and such.  

The picture above and the next two are the kitchen. This area was probably my favorite part of the build. I put a lot of thought into it because I felt like Snow would spend a lot of time in here. The counters I thought looked very fitting for the look I was trying to go for. I used a lot of traditional styled items to get the cottage look. 

I used a large amount of cc in this build but specifically this room.

The picture above and the one below is the dining area. Although this house is just for Snow I wanted to give her a large dining table because I think of her having the dwarfs over and just hosting a lot.I also included a little computer area in the corner.

The picture above and the two below are of the master bedroom and the master bath. In the bedroom I gave snow a vanity in her room as well as a cozy little bench by the window for singing to the birds and stuff.

The bathroom is pretty Straight forward. I did include a few small touches but nothing to cray.

The last two pictures are above and below. They are of the backyard. I gave snow white an outside laundry set up and an outdoor dining area including a grill.

The above part is the garden area. I gave her a gorgeous fountain and a sitting spot to enjoy the garden.
