Context: Disney decided it would be a great idea to make another shitty live action remake of Snow White with the actor of Snow White being a man hating sexist who hates Walt Disneys original story, quick reminder that I will be a Disney defender ever.
It’s troubling that people are saying “one of the last good ones” and other final-sounding stuff when they talk about Disney movies. Like the company is a celebrity who’s died.
I don’t like what they’re doing nowadays either but like…is it over? They’re never going to be the industry standard, the well-done-family-movie-standard, again? The big blue imaginary friend who’s movies are woven into the subconscious of every kid for the past three generations is dead and all we have left are the memories??
