A love that demands a reward is self-interested. It is not pure, true, sincere.

It is a human instinct in times of other people's stress to find the most disinterested person present and get in a huddle.

There's only one thing which is getting the better of me these days and that is a steep disinterest in this world and its affairs. What I once used to be very concerned about has now become petty matters. Carefree is how I'm carrying myself off lately and it is indeed liberating. But at the same time, a question does come up every now and then: "what am I here for?" To which there seems to be no definite answer and that's leaving me quite perturbed. Even if I come to some conclusion about my 'grand purpose on earth', it will still require some sort of divine attestation. So here am I, moving about like a little child, barely bothered about what happens around me. I'll remain deeply engrossed in whatever catches the attention of my soul, everything else will have to leave my doors, sensing my disgust & disinterest...
