Sometimes Farleigh felt like an outsider in his own house. Well maybe Saltburn wasn't his own house, but he still spent the most of his life there and when the whole Oliver situation happened, he felt even more unloved by his own family.
When the whole plate thing happened he had no idea where to go.
But then he suddenly knew.
She was the only person he ever cared about. And he hoped she cared about him too.
So he stood at the door of her family house and hoped she was inside. When he saw her mother he almost felt the tears forming in his eyes.
He asked about her. If she was at home or wasn't. The woman said nothing but called for her daughter, adding that she had a guest. The girl quickly showed at the doorstep and smiled as she saw a friend of hers.
“Hi, Farleigh” she said and hugged him and then she felt how tense he was. She knew something happened, he wouldn't be at hers if not.
He hugged her back and walked into the house next. She asked what had happened, when they were finally in her room. This very pink coloured room, that used to get on his nerves, whenever he was there, now was like some sanctuary for him.
Or maybe she just was there for him.
“They hate me” Farleigh mumbled only and hugged the white teddy bear that he gave her at her last birthday as a present.
“I'm sorry, Far” she said, kissed his cheek and hugged him again.
This was the moment that he knew – she was the one.
He could hate everyone but her. She was always there for him and he was so happy to have her around every time. He loved her and it wasn't platonic love.
“I adore you” he whispered, sure of his words. He had never said it to anybody before.
“And I adore you, Farleigh,” she answered and looked up to his face. He was smiling again. “You're staying here, right?”
“Only if your parents say so” he replied and hugged her tighter.
“Gonna ask them,” she announced and stood up. “Oh, and Farleigh, don't smoke in this house” she said dead serious and he only chuckled.
For the next few days the two of them were inseparable. Every activity they were doing together.
Farleigh even went playing golf with her and her dad, even though he found it boring.
“I won!” she yelled, satisfied, jumping a little. Farleigh only shook his head, smiling. The girl's father wasn't with them, because he was golfing with his friends, so they were alone on the course.
“Oh, stop being so grasping” he scoffed and hit the ball with his wedge.
“You are such a sore loser, Farleigh,” she said and ran after him.
“Oh, you sure?” he stopped, so she ran at him and bounced off his chest, almost falling on the ground, but he caught her.
“Yeah, yeah I am” she answered and then he kissed her without saying anything.
The girl felt like in a fairytale. Farleigh, the boy she had a crush on for years, was kissing her.
“You're an excellent kisser, you know?” he chuckled at her question and kissed her again, lifting her up a little.
“Let's go, I have to win with you” Farleigh laughed and started to run to the place where the ball fell with her hand in his.
“You're such a sore loser” the girl laughed with red cheeks and ran with him.

WARNINGS: death (only mentioned), heartbroken reader, abuse, alcoholism, lies, felix is stupid, toxic relationship, ENGLISH ISN'T MY FIRST LANGUAGE SO SORRY FOR ABY MISTAKES.
Felix never understood why she never said anything about her father. He asked about him many times, but she always found a way to change a topic or acted like she didn't hear his question.
“I just don't wanna talk about it, Felix” she said as they were driving to her family house.
The girl saw that something was odd with her best friend, since he came back with Oliver from Liverpool the previous day.
“Why?” he pushed, but didn't answer for a longer moment.
“Ask my mum about it” she said finally, when he parked at the driveway. The girl didn't wait for him and left the car to open the door and step in. Felix locked the car and ran after her to see her hugging a woman, whom she looked alike.
“Hello” he said awkwardly standing in front of them.
“Ah, mama! This is Felix, been telling you about him” she announced and grabbed him by hand, so he stepped close to them.
“Nice to meet you, young man, I've heard plenty of stories about you” the woman said, smiling at him.
“Nice to meet you too” he replied and grabbed her for a hug.
“Go to the living room, kids, I'll make the tea” her mother announced and the girl took Felix to the room.
“Is that you?” he asked, pointing at the photo on the shelf, next to the books.
“Oh, yeah, it's little her” the woman said, as she entered the room. “This was taken at her first music competition” she added, making her daughter red. “She won it, I'm still so proud of her.”
“You didn't tell me you were taking part in competitions?” Felix turned around to his friend.
“You never asked,” she answered and stood up from the couch. “Then we were karting with girls” she said, while showing the photo of her at the karting track next to a kart.
“Oh, and this one is from the Grand Prix two years ago, when you were a marshall,” her mother cooed, pointing at another photo.
“I told you about that,” the girl reminded Felix, making him laugh. Yes, she had told him about it one time. “Come on, I'll show you around” she said and grabbed him by hand and took him upstairs.
“Your room?” he asked, watching her open the door.
“Yeah, welcome to my kingdom” she said and let him in.
“Yeah, it's definitely your room,” Felix laughed. He could see that she was the owner of it. The books that she's been telling him about, the film posters she told him she had watched, the Formula 1 related things - everything that was in that room was her.
“What happened yesterday?” the girl asked, when they were lying on her bed for a while. The bed was small, 90x200 centimeters and his legs were sticking out of it. He found this funny and was laughing until she asked.
“He's a, um” he started, not sure if he wanted her to know that. But she never lied to him, right? She wouldn't do that like Oliver did. She would never. “He lied to me. To all of us” he said finally.
The girl looked at Felix, not understanding what he meant. She saw how they were treating each other the previous day, but she didn't ask since he came to her room and started kissing her, banning her and himself from talking till breakfast.
“What has he done?” she asked and raised her head. She was worried about him. He was her best friend, her other half and she was really jealous of Oliver for the whole time, which Farleigh found hilarious and was making jokes about it to Felix when she wasn't around. And Farleigh liked her more, if he had to choose between her and Oliver who was better for his cousin, he would choose her without hesitation. She was normal in his opinion, not a liar like Oliver.
The girl loved Felix. She gave him her whole heart. But he didn't see it. His heart didn't belong to her, but her heart belonged to him. And it hurt her a lot.
She tried to leave him, for her own good, but she couldn't. He was so magnetic, so majestic that she just couldn't leave him.
Farleigh and her own friends saw how she felt and how Felix was blind about it. Farleigh tried, he really tried to do something but his cousin was as if he didn't have eyes and couldn't see anything about her.
Farleigh told her he felt sorry for her and that she should really leave him for her own good and that he knew it was hard, but she still couldn't. And Farleigh saw it.
Gosh, she spent the whole vacation with him and Venetia because Felix was always with Oliver and he seemed like she wasn't there until yesterday. She was his second choice and she knew it.
So she decided that it would be her last try to cut contact with him. For her own good.
“Felix, I'm not coming back to Saltburn with you” she announced, when he stopped talking about that liar.
He was shocked. Why would she say that? What has gone wrong?
“What? No, no, no, you're coming back” he replied, feeling betrayed.
“Mama said that the great-grandma is feeling worse and worse, Felix, I can't be not around her” she said the half of the truth. This was one of the two reasons she wanted to stay at home. “I can't do that to her,” she mumbled, tears forming in her eyes.
He would understand, right?
“I can drive you at any time here, I promise, just come back with me” he assured her and grabbed her face in his hands gently. “You can just leave me,” he said, looking into her eyes.
“Felix, you don't understand” she shook her head, as he made everything about himself. “I can't leave her now, I don't know how much time she has left,” she added. “You should stay for tonight and go back home tomorrow, it's getting dark” she said and he only agreed.
He didn't want to leave her, especially now.
During the night, Felix was walking through the house and looking for the water. He stood in the kitchen and saw his friend’s mother looking for something in the cabinet.
“Good evening” he mumbled and she answered. He got the water and stood for a moment. He had a battle inside if he should ask about that. And his curiosity won, so he asked: “I'm sorry for being rude, but anytime I asked your daughter about the father she never answered and recently she told me to ask you about him, so could you tell me something?”
“Oh, he was, let's say, not a good person” the woman started and sat on the chair. “I completely understand why she doesn't want to talk about him. She has some kind of trauma and she used to go to therapy, when she was younger” at these words he furrowed his brow. “He was an alcoholic and violent towards us, so you know” she stopped talking, not knowing what to add more. “Oh, and when he died it really hit her, even though she didn't talk with him for years.”
“I'm so sorry you had to go through this,” he said and wanted to hug the woman. He would never have thought that something like this happened to his best friend.
“It's okay now, young man, don't worry” she said and hugged him. “She's doing great,” she assured him.
He felt so stupid. He was such a dick for her sometimes.
Now he wanted only to make it up to her.
So when he was leaving he promised the girl that he was going to do everything for her, because she deserved it.
But he broke the promise. He never had done that, because he died and left her alone, without making anything up to her.
Ideal boy, everyone liked him and so he liked everyone.
It felt like there was nothing wrong about him, unless you don't like when people smoke.
He was everywhere. Everyone talked about him. And most times those were good things, but some jealous boys did not always talk about him favourably.
And since everyone talked about him like that, she really wanted to know him. She wanted to know what was so special about him.
She didn't think she had ever met Felix somewhere. She was usually with her friends, who were a total opposite to him and his friends. Of course they were rich, maybe not as much as he was, but still and always got invitations for the parties, but they actually never had gone to them.
The girl's were into books and silly rom coms with happy endings at that point, not partying.
But one night she finally met the famous Felix Catton. He was standing there alone at the schoolyard at almost midnight in glory, looking like some Greek god, Apollo to be more specific.
He waved at her. He had no idea who she was. He came to her in two steps with his long legs and started a conversation. He was a nice guy. He complimented her looks, especially how he liked the freckles on her shoulders, making her frown her brows because of how he was able to see them in the dark.
And then she understood the hype on him. There was something so magnetic in him that she just couldn't stay away from him.
And so she didn't.
On the following day Felix was quick to find her in the library, as she was chatting with her two friends. He asked them if he could steal the girl for a moment and when they said yes, he quickly grabbed her wrist and took her among bookstants.
And there he asked her for a date. He got to the point extra fast, without complimenting her. He said he was in a hurry and had to tell her first, but when she agreed he became normal again and started playing his old game of winning a girl's heart.
Felix really did like her. She was… well, herself. And he liked it. A lot.
“I'll be waiting for you tomorrow at five. Wear some trousers and hoodie and trainers” he said and kissed her cheek as a goodbye and ran to Farleigh with a smile across his face.
“I'm going on a date” the girl announced to her friends softly and sat on her chair. She felt like she was in one of these romcoms she used to watch but she didn't know if it was going to have a happy ending or not.
As Felix said, he did. He was waiting for her at her dorm wearing a green polo shirt, dark jeans and Adidas trainers. He looked good. Devilishly good.
“Felix you look… wow” she said only, looking at him and then she saw that he wasn't wearing his brow piercing. And he looked even better.
“You look wow as well, sweetheart” he giggled, looking at her outfit. The sweater in light pink colour was making her eyes look prettier and went ideally with the jeans and Nike Air Force 1.
The date went well. Really well.
“Come with me to Saltburn, to home” Felix said one night, when they were lying on the floor in his dorm, which he previously started to clean, so it didn't smell terrible.
“What?” she asked, not really thinking he meant it. They were dating for four months now, but she wasn't expecting to get such an invitation.
“You're my girlfriend, I want you to get to know my parents and sister” he answered and handed her a cigarette, forgetting again that she didn't smoke.
“But I'm going to Austria and Germany with dad and-”
“I talked to him already he said yes” Felix smiled, proud of himself.
And there she was two weeks later standing in front of the literal palace and her stupid boyfriend with an even more stupid grin on his face.
“It's gonna be fun, I promise” Felix said only and kissed her, hoping that the whole vacation will go fine.
WARNINGS: language, mentions of sex, situationship, reader is crying, use of y/n.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: this was based on these requests. sorry it's so short, school is killing me fr.
“No Farleigh! You don't understand! You'll never understand!” the girl yelled at her situationship, while putting on a green sweater.
“Then tell me! Tell me what's wrong because I don't fucking understand what I'd your fucking problem!” he said, sitting up on the bed.
“You! You are my problem!” she answered with her voice breaking.
“The fuck you mean!”
“I have no fucking idea what we are Farleigh! Friends, fuck buddies, girlfriend and boyfriend?” Y/N said with tears in her eyes.
He chuckled only and smoked a fag. How could she even think about something like that.
“Darling” he started, while getting up. He stood in front of her and put his hands on her arms. “Why do you even think about it?” he asked calmly, looking at her face.
“Juliet! You fucked with her, I know that!” the girl cried, making him sigh.
“I did not fuck anyone, how did you come up with that?” Farleigh asked, wiping the tears from her face. “Who told you that? You weren't present at any parties for almost a month” he added.
“Juliet herself” she cried again. Farleigh’s face dropped, as he heard that.
“She's insane, I did not have sex with her” he said and took her face in his hands. “Darling, I swear to you, I have done nothing with Juliet or anyone but you” he assured her. “And you know when I'm telling the truth.”
Y/N only sighed and hugged his chest. He wrapped his arms around her waist, picked her up and took her to his bed.
“I'm sorry you heard this, darling girl” he mumbled to her hair, while stroking it. “You're my one and only,” he said.
“So girlfriend?” she asked.
“Yeah, girlfriend” Farleigh answered and pressed a kiss on top of her head.
On the next day, Y/N woke up beside her now boyfriend, Farleigh. He was running his hand on her back as she was lying on his bare chest.
“Morning” he mumbled, looking at her.
“Hello” she answered and within twenty minutes they were on the way to classes with their hands holding each other.
“Oh, hi Farleigh” Juliet said as she stood in front of him, acting like Y/N was never there. “What are you doing?” she asked and he only furrowed his brows.
“Having an amazing time with my girlfriend” he replied and smiled rudely. He watched Juliet's face with pure satisfaction and then he started walking Y/N to her class, leaving Juliet speechless.
“You're rude” she said, when they stood at the door of her art class.
“You should be too” he chuckled and pressed a kiss to her lips. “Have a nice day, darling,” he said. “I'll be waiting for you” he gave her a wink and she entered the room with hot cheeks.
SUMMARY: what can go wrong when they both hate the same person?
WORD COUNT: 385
GENRE: fluff
WARNINGS: drugs, mentions of fights (nothing graphic)

The very first thing you could say about Y/N and Farleigh was that they were complete opposites. But if you would take a closer look you’d see that they weren't as big as you thought before.
Okay, so at first let me say that they boys hated each other at the beginning. Parties? Y/N could smash Farleigh’s face for one sentence he said (of course he has never done that, but he has had a crazy amount of thoughts like this). And Farleigh? He was craving to do the same just for his presentence in the same room as he was.
School yard? Yeah none of them was around the other one because they could end up being out of the school.
What was the reason for this? I honestly have no idea. Maybe it was that one guy that both of them wanted to fuck, but he didn't want any of them. Maybe it was the fact that Y/N once told Felix that he’d seen Farleigh with cocaine. I mean there could be so many other reasons why they hated each other.
But what happened and they became friends? Guys, I know the answer to that question!
Well, there was once a silly little guy called Oliver Quick. Did Farleigh like him? No, not at all. Did Y/N like him? Also not, at all.
Y/N was a straight A student who didn't not like people that could take his spotlight from him. The best and most perfect law student at Oxford wasn't the best student of all? Something didn't click here. Oh, and Farleigh knew that all too well.
So, since Farleigh also didn't like Oliver and the only person who had any chances to do something with the teachers didn't like Oliver too, he thought it would be okay to talk with him.
It wasn't so hard then to convince the teachers to do a shakedown in Quick’s room.
The cocaine found there? Oh, it definitely wasn't coming from Farleigh.
And what about Oliver you might ask. Well, he said bye bye to his studies at Oxford. And to Felix, which was the best for Start and he couldn't be happier.

Yves Charles Leclerc always had been a pampered child. After his parents separation, his father focused all his attention on work, but also on his two little boys.
And because of that the boy wasn't happy at all. He didn't want new toys or new clothes, he just wanted his dad to spend some time with him, like play football together or go for an ice cream.
So that's why when they were in the shop, Yves ran away.
“Do you like Spiderman?” the little guy asked a girl, who was looking at two different figurines of that superhero. The girl turned her head to the side from where the voice was coming.
“He's nice. And you? Do you like him?” she asked, crouching down to small Leclerc.
“Nah. Only The Amazing one” he answered, making the girl laugh.
“Same here, my dear. The other series were boring, don't you think?” she smiled, when the boy enthusiastically nodded his head. “Big question to you, boy. Which one?” she asked, showing him two boxes with two different Spidermans.
“For who? You or…?”
“For my cousin, he's seven and a huge fan of Spiderman” she announced.
“This one. I have the same at home. A gift from my mum. It's my favourite toy. Dad doesn't like it. He thinks it's old and ugly and he always gives me new ones, but I don't like it, so he's mad. But just for a moment” Yves said like it was nothing unusual.
But for Y/N it was something unusual. Parents should never do things like that to their kids.
“Are you here alone?” the H/C girl asked, when she stepped in the cash register.
“I ran away. From dad” while saying that, Leclerc he threw up his arms, like it was something that kids are doing all the time.
“You did what?” Y/N and the cashier asked in union, which made the boy feel guilty. “You can't do things like this, boy. Your dad is worrying now” Y/N said, looking at Yves with a serious look. “What's your name?” the cashier asked the boy, who was about to cry.
“Yves Leclerc” he said with a small voice and the. started to cry.
The cashier issued a statement, that a boy called Yves got lost in the shop, but his father hadn't shown up, so Y/N and a shop bodyguard went to the mall security guard point with the boy, who was crying and glued to the girl.
So there was another statement about the lost boy that was widespread to the whole shopping mall and then small Leclerc finally found the big Leclerc.
“Oh, Yves,” Charles said, when he entered the security room with another boy, who looked just like Yves, but a little older, where Y/N was sitting with the boy and a lot of bodyguards.
The man was actually Yves' father – he had shown their identity cards, where were their photos, suremanes and Yves' parents' names, which were Charles and Juliette.
But the boy still didn't want to go with his dad and brother. He didn't want to let go of Y/N, which made Charles a little bit confused because as the girl said, she had never seen the boy before he caught her in the shop that day.
Finally small Leclerc went to his father, but after a long talk with the girl.
“For you, you brave kids protector” was said by the head of security, when a lollypop was given to Y/N. She laughed a little and with a thanks on her lips she left the security room.
L/N wasn't expecting three Leclercs in front of her, when she closed the door of the room.
“I'm so sorry that you had to stay with him. I didn't even realise that he wasn't around. I'm really sorry, I didn't want this whole situation to happen” the man said, hugging his son, who was now glued to him.
“No it's okay. Kids like to run away from their parents, so I'm not mad” the girl announced with a bright smile on her face.
“I'm sorry” Yves mumbled from his father's torso.
“It's okay, Yves. I'm not mad or anything. Just don't do that again” Charles said, stroking son on the back.
“Is there anything that I can do as thanks?” the father questioned. “No, I don't think so-” Y/N started, but then she looked at her watch and sighed resignedly. “If you have a car, then maybe give me a ride?” the H/C girl proposed. “I just missed my bus,” she added.
“No, no, no! It's okay! I have a car don't worry” the man laughed, adjusting Yves on his hip. “My name is Charles,” he announced with a smile on his face.
“Y/N”
“So I suggest” the man started. “Let's go to the car if you got everything from the shops”
“Um, I have to buy wrapping papers, but I can buy them tomorrow, I don't need it so bad today” the girl answered, when they were walking to the car park.
“It's not a problem. We can go to the shop” Charles said and headed to the shopping area. The girl bought a few wrapping papers with help from the two boys, who choose colours and patterns.
He shouldn't be so surprised about the city District, where the girl was living. It wasn't nice around and he never thought that a pretty girl like her and with good clothes would live in a place like that.
“So, it's here. Thank you” the girl announced, when Leclerc stopped his Ferrari. “Hey, Y/N, would you like working for me?” Leclerc asked, when she was handing a door handle. “If you have time, of course,” he added quickly.
She had told him that she was looking for a job that wouldn't collide with her studies at uni, when they were driving. So he thought that proposing to her a job to be the nanny of his sons would be okay.
They were really energetic boys, but she wouldn't mind. As long as they didn't tease her, it was okay.
She looked after them from Tuesday to Thursday, when Charles wasn't home. She was playing with cars with them, watching cartoons with them, eating with them and going for walks with them. Sometimes she let them sleep with her in one bed when they had a nightmare.
Y/N became their mother figure at some point.
Boys truly loved her. Even harder than their biological mother.
Sometimes Yves called Y/N "mum" but he quickly corrected himself. The girl announced that to Charles, who told her that he would talk to his boy.
“Charles I need to say that I won't be able to stay with boys in next two weeks” Y/N announced while she was putting on her jacket.
“You got into that project?” the man asked with a grin on his face.
“Yeah” she nodded.
“Congrats, Y/N! You should tell me earlier, we could go somewhere to celebrate it” he said, hugging her.
“No, it's okay, I just got the information like two hours ago. I was first person on the reserve list and now someone resigned so I got it” Y/N said.
“Congrats once again,” Charles said.
“Gotta go or I'll be late for the bus” she smiled, but Leclerc stopped her.
“I'll drive you home,” he said.
“But the boys-”
“Arthur will be there in ten minutes” the man provided and helped her to take off the jacket.
Arthur had arrived and next Charles drove Y/N home. When he finally stopped his car in front of her apartment block, he grabbed her head and kissed her. They drew apart and the girl's face was fully red.
“Sleep well, Y/N/N” he smiled and kissed her once again.
“You too, Charles,” she said and got out of the car.
so um, as you can see all my joost fics are gone now.
i made them private since ive been feeling uneasy and uncomfortable with my works beeing on tiktok, twitter, etc. i also removed joost from my list of people/characters i write for, so with that this is the end of me writing about him. it's really hard for me, because writing was a thing that made me happy, but of course there are a lot of other things and people i can write about.
i really appreciate all of the requests you have been sending. it really means a lot for me, but i don't want to do anything that can make anybody mad or uncomfortable. hope you understand that. :)
i'm not saying this is definitely the end of me writing, but this is the definitive end of me writing for joost. i need to be a mature person that know what to do in situation like this.
i am really grateful for those who came here and followed me because of my works about joost. you are now free to unfollow me, but if you still want ot stay here, then you are always welcomed.
i really hope you'll understand why i am doing this. i also really want this statement (ig i can call it a statement) to stay on this app and not go to the tiktok or twitter. please don't screenshot this or repost just for my mental health, i really feel bad about that one screenshot already.
this is everything from me for now. hope you understand my point of view.
