opposing political opinions or what to name a new pet, whatever you prefer!
The cute sounds of a kitten meowing captivated both Lithuania and Poland as they stared at it. Itâs small, rolly body just a tiny ball of fur inside the cardboard box theyâre brought it back to Lithuaniaâs garage in.
âIt is so, totally, cute.â Poland stroked it a little with his fingers, âWhat should we name it?â
Lithuania admired the kitten and checked its gender carefully. It purred as he held it. âWell, itâs a female, and sheâs purring, how about MurkÄ?â He pat it on the head a few more times and put it back into the box, âItâs simple but cute.â
âMruczek sounds better,â Poland immediately suggested back, âI just like the sound of it more.â
Lithuania sighed, âyes but itâs a female cat so wouldnât it make sense to give it a female name?â
âNo?â Poland said with confusion, âI mean, a name is a name, I donât know why it has to be a FEMALE name.â
Lithuania looked at the kitten again and then at Poland, âMurkÄ sounds better, itâs more fitting--â
âNo, Mruczek sounds better cause I said so.â Poland said with defiance, âI mean no offence to Lithuanian or something but if the cat is gonna have a name it should be something with flair.â
âMurkÄ has flair...â Lithuania muttered, unsure of what to name the animal now. It was going to be a pet they would share together, âMurkÄ is overall just a better option.â
âMruczek is a better option!â Poland closed his eyes and pet the animal.
âJust name it Purr or something!â Latvia crawled out of the bushes, telling them both off, âjeez, you two argue about the dumbest things.â
Lithuania and Poland both looked at one another. Purr was a gender-neutral name, it didnât sound the best compared to their Lithuanian or Polish choices, but it was what they were going for.Â
âPurr?â Lithuania said to Poland, asking if it was okay.
âPurr.â Poland nodded, agreeing with him.
