Hey. So I work at a nationwide water damage and fire damage mitigation company. Our whole job revolves around responding to sudden catastrophic damage to your house. The cleanup, the containment, the restoration, and making sure your house is safe to live in. This company's been doing this since the 70s. These are the fliers they're handing out to people impacted by Helene and about to be impacted by Milton, including our own technicians who travelled to the southeast and are now stuck there during Milton. We are literally a damage control company and are working with government agencies on the ground during these hurricanes.

I know this is short notice and a long shot that many people will see it, but a group of volunteers are heading out of Charlotte, NC to the North Carolina coast on Monday (9/23) to help with clean up and distribute donations.

One of the things we're bringing down with us are hygiene kits!

Each kit includes:

Shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, a tooth brush, soap, a wash cloth, hand sanitizer, a contacts case, saline solution, Advil and a comb

The kits cost about $10 USD each to assemble

We also need funds to help off set the gas needed to get these kits and many other donated supplies to our distribution point in Wilmington NC.

Contact insurance Contact Dept. of water and power to turn them off get a P.O box for mail
