Someone help. I leaned slightly to the side and my back decided that it would make me feel every injury my ancestors sustained since we climbed out of the primordial soup all at once.

Rolled out of bed this morning and immediately went out for an hour and a half long walk. It started with 'I'm going to walk to the corner and back' then went to 'Okay, the next corner.... Okay, the next one.' When I got back, I rearranged my freezer to make space for my new roommate, and now I'm eating lunch before I go and tackle the fridge while I still have the steam. I have no idea where this energy came from, but I'm going to ride it out until it's gone.
Considering like three days ago I couldn't even stand up out of bed, I'm counting this as a huge win.
Me when I woke up this morning: I think I'm going to go for a nice walk today!
My body, being held together with electrical tape and scraps of yarn: Yeah, I'm going to make it so you can't even roll over in bed without wanting to scream. Good luck trying to stand, buddy.
I can’t believe that this is a thing that needs to be said, but
Don’t touch someone’s mobility device
I just had my head smashed against the side of a check out counter because someone thought it was acceptable to grab my cane out from under me. This has happened to me several times. Most of them have said it was because they wanted to get my attention, another said it was because she thought I didn’t really need it, and today it was two drunk girls who wanted to play with it who then started crying because I yelled at them.
This is not a difficult concept. Taking my cane out from under me is no different than walking up and pushing someone over. I need my cane to stand and walk. It is one of my limbs. It’s not a fashion accessory, and it’s not a toy.
The next person who touches it is going to get stabbed in the fucking ankle.
I'm going to go out for a walk. It won't be easy, and it sure as hell won't be fun, but I want to move a bit.

Guess who just fell coming down the fucking stairs!
This would normally be where I would yell THIS GUY and point at myself, but I'm too ouchie. Me. It was me. I fell coming down the stairs and now my knee hurts even more than normal and my butt is bruised and I want a hug and a place to live where the person with a goddamned mobility device doesn't have to haul it up and down a flight of stairs just to exist outside of their room.
I did some unplanned off roading yesterday because google maps didn’t tell me that there was stairs all over the place where I was going, and now today I can’t bend my knee. Whee.
