. . . lately, i’ve been thinking about dateable!reader x homeowner!characters (role reversal, essentially) but i don’t know if anyone’s ready for that vision yet, so for now take some dateable!reader x other dateable characters!

. . . car keys!reader!!! your gimmick is that you’re ALWAYS LOST. sometimes it’s purposeful, a mischievous little game of hide and seek. usually it’s not, though. you genuinely have no idea how you manage to end up in the air vents or in between couch cushions or even in the junk drawer.

. . . you have a variety of possible accessories, but you tend to wear black and silver as a base to your outfit. overall aesthetics definitely change from type of car key to type of car key, but i think a more alternative/rebellious style would suit a car keys character.

. . . whether you’re a maximalist or minimalist set of car keys depends on the owner— regardless, jerry’s fascinated by you. car keys make for interesting pieces, is all. a sleek black fob with various buttons and a shiny, silver key jutting out… you’re far classier than a guy like him, a literal junk drawer. he’s surprised you visit so often, but he always appreciates your company.

. . . you’re caught in a bit of a pickle when it comes to harper and dirk. sometimes you’re left in the hamper, sometimes you’re left in the pockets of a dirty pair of pants; they seem less mad that the other might be cheating and more so mad that the other might win you over first. it’s quite unfortunate that harper and dirk have the same type in people.

. . . amir compliments you endlessly. he compliments everyone, but he’s quite enraptured by you because you get to go out the house! it must be exciting and you must be oh so brave to see the outside world (even if you only really see it from the hand of your owner).

. . . honestly, i leave my car keys everywhere so i can see car keys!reader getting to know a lot of the dateables. off the top of my head i think tony, tina, johnny splash, the hanks, bathsheba, and shelly would be really interested in you and your adventures outside. i can see tony as a car guy, and since you’re car keys… as for johnny splash i think he’d love to hear about songs from the car radio!! it’d be really cute!!
