Okay so here’s a Dipcifica fic for @teddynspotnrosienellie I hope you enjoy!!

It was finally over, Bill is FINALLY gone. Slowly everything was turning back to normal and it was all thanks to the Pines twins. It had flew on faster than expected and here they were preparing for the town heroes’ last party this summer.

Packing was easy at the same time it wasn’t. Packing their things meant it was time to leave and how the twins hated that. It wasn’t easy to leave all the adventures behind and it certainly wasn’t easy to leave the friends they made but sadly here they were now, packing their things.

After a while Dipper and Mabel were now in a bus back to California and as they travelled Dipper opened the letter that was given to him by Wendy and saw all of his friends had written down their names, with it was a few small messages and of course the big ‘see you next summer’ was hard to miss. But what was shocking was a name he kinda sorta didn’t expect to see.

There written in pink was Pacifica’s name. This was Pacifica here, Pacifica Northwest. He made sure to read that name again since a part of him believed it and a part of him didn’t. What with all those things that happen they surely had gotten a decent neutral ground going on but still this was Pacifica we’re talking about here.

Dipper found himself smiling at the thought, there was so many unbelievable things that happened to him during his stay at Gravity Falls but one of the shocking ones was Pacifica’s character change. Who would’ve though that that nasty rich blond actually has a heart?

He was then reminded of the events that happened with the lumberjack back at Northwest Manor, they were actually a pretty good team up until that point where he accidentally set the ghost free but let’s not get into that. He actually couldn’t believe it but she was different from her parents. She was actually good!

A little memory came by him again and this time it was when he caught the ghost in the mirror, Pacifica had hugged him out of sheer happiness and well, he actually liked that hug. He wouldn’t admit it to her face but she actually looked good in that gown, not that he was looking or staring mind you. She was brave too and deep in her she was kind as well.

He was so deep in thought that he didn’t realize that they were already at their bus stop. He woke Mabel up, grabbed his things and they went on down.

When they got settled back home their mother had made them some snack which Mabel was more than happy to take but Dipper had went up to his room instead.

When he finished unpacking his things he found a book that was just sitting with his stuff. He took a closer look and realized that it was the Ghost Harassers book that Pacifica gave to him. He sat down his bed and opened it for the first time, since he was busy with the festivities the day he got it he hadn’t actually opened it even thought he so wanted to.

What Dipper wasn’t expecting was for something to slip out its first page. When he picked it up he saw a number on it and when he turned it around he was shocked to see a photo of him and Pacifica playing with dirt on their shoes and laughing during the day they got rid of a lumberghost.

He stared at a photo for a bit before looking back at the book, oh did he mention that Pacifica looked great in a gown? Because she definitely looked great in a gown.

He flipped the photo back and he stared at the number with various thoughts going on his mind.

What does this mean?

Is this her number?

Does she want me to call her?

Does she EXPECT me to call her?

Did she leave this here on purpose?

At that Dipper slapped his face for such a stupid question.

Of course she did, she wrote down her number behind it in the first place! Wait, is it her number?

Only one way to find out, he thought.

He dialed the number and soon it rang. He didn’t know why but he felt as though his chest was going to explode. He took in deep breaths to calm himself but his breath automatically stopped when the other line answered.

“Hello, Pacifica Northwest speaking.” She answered in a flat tone.

“Oh, uh. Hey, Pacifica.” Real smooth Dipper, real smooth.

“Dipper?” That flat tone immediately change to one with shock and now Dipper didn’t know how to talk to her.

“Hey, Pacifica.”

“Calling so soon? What? You missed me or something?” And there she is, being Pacifica as always. He had to smile at that.

“What? No! As if I’d miss you!” The line suddenly went silent and he wanted to smack himself for reasons he didn’t know.

“Whatever.” She answered in a low tone. “So why did you call me in the first place, genius?”

“Oh yeah, that.” He grabbed the photo and stared at it. “There’s something that was in the book you gave me. I think you misplaced it or some-”

“If you’re talking about the photo then I did put that in there.”

“Wha-”

He was a little shocked at the same time curious, so she did put that there on purpose. Question is why. He stared at the photo again before asking-

“Why?” He knew it, he knew that miss blondy over the line here would’ve probably raised a brow and crossed her arms by now.

“Why what?”

“Why did you put that photo in there?”

It was a little silent and Dipper started to get nervous. Was the line dead? Did she hate the question? Was she ignoring it? Did he get her mad?

“Uh, Pacifica-”

“So you could have communication with the people back here you moron! W-why else?!”

Dipper had to do a rain check on that one, was she embarrassed? Did she just stutter? Whatever it is Dipper won’t deny the fact that that was adorable. That is why he decided to tease her about it.

“I could’ve just called the Mystery Shacks phone if I ever wanted to talk to someone. Plus, Mabel has Candy and Grenda’s phone numbers, also Wendy’s and-”

“Fine! Whatever! You can just throw that thing away if you want to. I don’t really care!”

Dipper had to stop there, he had CLEARLY made Pacifica upset. He needed to do something about that so he placed the photo down and spoke up.

“Pacifica, I wouldn’t do that.”

“Well it’s useless. Might as well throw it away.”

“Well technically it’s not useless.”

“Oh yeah? What about calling the shack? I don’t see what the deal is.”

“Well yeah, I mean I could call the shack but if I wanted to talk to you then you’d have to go there and I’m sure you wouldn’t like that. Plus if I have your number I could easily call you and talk to you whenever I like and-”

“And why would you want to talk to me?”

Dipper slapped his mouth shut when he just realized what he just said. Think Dipper think!

“Uh, I- well what if there were more ghosts back there and you needed to take care of it? You’ll need my help right!? And it would be easier to keep in touch with everyone there if we had a lot of contact!”

He was so in panic with choosing the right words to say at that time but he stopped when he heard Pacifica laughing on the other line. It wasn’t the snotty rich girl laugh but an actual genuine one. He smiled at that and calmed down too.

“Alright alright, Dipstick. I get it. For a second there I though you hated talking to me.”

“Well…”

“Can it, Pines.”

“Yeah yeah, whatever you say.”

There was a comfortable silence that filled the air and Dipper was just smiling while looking at the photo, that is until Pacifica spoke again.

“So, you won’t mind me calling from time to time? You know, if there was ever any trouble here.”

“Yeah of course. As long as you don’t mind me calling from time to time too. You know, to say hi. To everyone I mean, to everyone.”

“Sure, if it means I can actually go out of this place and outside then that’s fine by me.”

“So, you really don’t mind?”

“No, what about you?”

“Not a bit.”

Suddenly his mom had called and thus the call was ended short, shocking how Dipper was displeased with that.

“Well, I guess I better go. Talk to you again sometime?”

“Why not? Bye for now, Dip.”

“Bye for now, Paz.”

“Paz?”

Dipper stopped and smacked himself for the nth time, he tried to make an excuse but was not working out.

“I- uh- I was just- you know.”

“Hey, it’s fine. Call me whatever you want.”

“What? Really?”

“Yeah, I don’t mind.”

“Wow, Pacifica, you’re actually a nice person.”

“Shut it, Pines!”

He laughed before smiling again.

“Well, I gotta go. Talk to you later, Paz.”

“Talk to you later, Dip.”

No matter how he put it, that conversation actually went well. And if time would allow it then they’d be talking more again.

Before he went to see his mom he placed the photo in his pillow case and made sure that the book was well placed.

I’m thinking of writing a fanfic where Pacifica is born mute and how it will affect her relationship with the pines twins, the town and just the story in general. It would be a romantic story off course.
