Recently in one of @pshattuck’s livestreams she reintroduced us to a few of her older characters, including this little dude! Pumpkin Knight! At one point in the livestream I asked “Is it weird that I wanna adopt Pumpkin Knight?” And her response was “No you can adopt him! It might straighten him out a little!” (He’s a bit a brat if y’all couldn’t tell)
And now here we are! I am the adopted mother of an eldritch god-tier boy-child! 😆
Also this was a good chance for me to revamp my persona. My friends and I agreed that if I was a Dnd race I’d be a Changeling, so that’s what my persona is now! Hope you guys like my new look!

This post is really a twofer of sorts. It's primarily a post about Welt Star "Doppel EP". Welt Star (Los Angeles, California) is an international band made up of members of Diode, Bobby Would and Vaguess. I read a review mention Wire and Warsaw in its description of the band. The songs are sung in German, but somehow this sounds like it was born in Australia (think Eddy Current Suppression Ring).
The reviewer who introduced me to Welt Star is Bandcamp's own Sims Hardin. Looking back through this blog I saw that not only do I mention Sims' best of punk reviews for Bandcamp, but he also gets mentioned as the mainstay of Society (2/11/24...I misspelled his last name). He was also in Mesh. I've always valued Hardin's punk takes because, well, it appears, I like his bands. Bringing up Hardin's bands is the "twofer" portion of today's post.
Welt Star "Doppel EP" is being released by Under the Gun Records (East Los Angeles). This is the same label that released Hardin's Society 7" back in 2024.

Terra really had a breakdown, manned up and resolved to throw away her life, commit several crimes, managed to somewhat flawlessly decieve everyone all to break her girlfriend out of captivity huh. I'm so proud of her, she really be doing everything to get to Diode as quicky as possible.
