So, long story short. 2 years ago, paleantologists found fossils in brazil. One particular fossil of interest was from an early pterosaurs ancestor, the Venetoraptor gassanae. It's skull.
It was flightless but had wings, and long fingers. It clung to treetops, I assume something like between a bat and a sloth.
A team of scientists have now reconstructed it's brain on a computer with the power of CT scans. The reconstruction shows a well developed section of the brain for balance, head movement and vision.

They say it's to understand how the power of flight evolved, but if we're not careful we will literally have a Jurassic World Rebirth situation on our hands.
