They Grow so Fast!
It has been several years in the Swedish house. Victoria didn't have her toys anymore, and she reads on Magic and Harry Potter. She was a bit more quiet now, but still very social. “It was not all you.” He gently spoke before hugging her. “It’s over. Junko is gone, they are awake and we will fix everything.” He gently assured her.
Her body tensed as he wrapped his arms around her in a hug. She wanted to just give in and let herself have at least a small sense of comfort from it, but she was just as equally torn with guilt for even thinking that. How could someone like her, who did what she had done, deserve any kind of comforting?
“But...you c-can’t fix everything..” she replied in a small voice, “You can’t c-change what I-I did..you can’t b-bring back those who lost t-their lives because of h-her...b-because of me..” A school? A town? Those could easily be rebuilt as if nothing had happened at all. But a life? Once that was gone that was it. There was no rebuilding something like that. And for someone who had dedicated her whole life on helping and healing others, how could she just accept what she had done? How could she forgive herself for going against everything she ever stood by?
