Tired and sick as hell. Felt like I’ve been living in some kind of euphoric waking nightmare all day. My body is exhausted but my brain kept running and decided it REALLY wanted to draw this.

Some while ago I stumbled upon an old illustration from Helen Stratton for the little mermaid. It showed the mermaid, holding her beloved in the midst of the stormy sea while her hair formed beautiful waves around them. I found that quite inspiring and wanted to draw a similar piece. And how life goes, it’s mermay! ( ´͈ ॢꇴ `͈ॢ)･*♡ The best time to make something like this!
