I kept it because it looks good for some wierd reason. It’s kind of. A whole vibe.

The pink filter also fits the yassified look his face has in the drawing.

Here’s the base version of the colors…

…Kind of, because I did the main shading of the hair and clothes all in one layer, so I can’t fully show the base colors with no shading haha.

I really like this way of drawing hair, I followed a Pinterest tutorial to do it :]

I also looked at many references for the eyes and especially the vitiligo texture. This drawing was also a bit more if me just experimenting with drawing skin with vitiligo. I don’t know why this Damon headcannon grew so much on me, but I still think it looks beautiful.

Finally, the entire idea of this drawing Im pretty sure came from me looking at a lot of seraphs art here in tumblr and also on Pinterest.

There is this specific drawing of Damon by seraph that I saw on Pinterest and I tried to copy in my own style, on my sketchbook:

This was the drawing. Looking at it now I definitely moved the eyes up to high and I’m glad I looked at referenced for the final thing, because they were also too small for the kind of eye I wanted him to have.

In digital, I later improved the sketch a bit by tweaking it a bit especially making the eyes the same size and the mouth being in right spot of the face (WHICH IT STILL LOOKS WIERD IN THE FINAL THING BUT OH WELL).
