Did it on time but not exactly as I wanted. I was aiming for a cartoony look mixed with chibi. I think I need to relearn how to do chibis again lol, but I like that the cartoony look worked out for the camels. I also like the postcard quality to this.

Fake LINE stamps for a digimuyo fanfiction I'm trying to finish! (That's right, these are for a crossover fanfiction, but lookit them--you can enjoy them without that, right?~)
I'd finished the FF already but yesterday and today has been a lot...I really like how the fake stamps have been coming out though. Especially the Wormmon one. Do you wanna guess how it's used? >w<
Last year I had doodled some random pictures of how Ken and Sasami would look in their 40s-50s (Sasami a little more than that)--those are the first two images. Today I was struck with the need to finally doodle some character sheets lol. I say doodle because well, what with my arm being the way it is, it's the best I can manage right now...
You can read more about the first two images (and an extra) over here, the sheets don't have a section on the site yet. When they do, I'll go into more detail about them. For now, here's the transcript for the text:
Ken:
~40-50 yrs old, chief inspector???
-cuts hair (AGAIN) after a particular draining case; ends up starting to grey early
-a little moodier
*can be either/or but design and era is more apt for the "forced childlessness" timeline :)
Sasami:
~50+ yrs, housewife of a very lonely house; still older than Ken and looks it.
-growing out hair; aging like an earthling does due to rejecting life extension years before
-starts to feel lost again o her role in life (tired children's noises: yay)

In all the hullabaloo that's been my year thus far, I totally forgot to upload this on Tumblr too! I got reminded because the game comes out tomorrow ^_^;; edit: I was told the wrong date, it's on the 16th lmao
I played the demo a few weeks ago though, and as you can see, I've always had Ken and Sasami in every Tomodachi Life. Yes, that includes the 2009 version that never was released outside of Japan. I played it in English. Wink wink nod nod. (WINK WINK NOD NOD, I SAY.)
I was going to originally make a couple of posts, especially for the 2014 version, showing off how they both looked in the first two games. I had made Ayeka too but nobody else from Digimon or Tenchi in those two games lol. (Shows my priorities!) But besides not having as many screenshots as I thought I had from the 2009 version, I have been bone-tired--the kind that's wrecking my memory lately lmao. (See: making this post NOW instead of near the beginning of the month when I shared screenshots of the demo elsewhere.)
And I have so much of the 2014 version, that I'm getting tired thinking about XD I'll share one more from that game though:
I lied, that was two. (we all agree that ken is a girl dad, right? right? no? don't talk to me or my son's son's or my son's son's son's or my son's son's son's daughter's or--)
As you can tell in the three pictures at the top though, Sasami never looked good as her older self in these games. So I've tended to use her kid self's hairdo, which has become pretty much a "tradition" with the demo/new game ^_^; But this is the best version of Sasami ever and you'll soon see why!
As for Ken, it's been different each time. First game I tried his hair from the epilogue, second game I tried his 02 hair (which at least was tonally consistent with Sasami, I suppose) and third game is--well, let's see those personalities first, shall we?

Yep, this time I went with Ken's hair from Beyond! Even though this game was a hefty visual upgrade (please look at Sasami), I...couldn't make the other hairdos work???? I feel like maybe I couldn't grok with it, since other people have clearly made Ken work in their demos! (As an example, here's how my pal Shirohi did their Ken.) That said, it's not like I'm not content. In fact, I'm really happy because I also think this is the best possible Ken I've made yet.
I also usually try to make Sasami the friendly personality but this is good enough for now. Ken's personality has always been the hardest in all three, but I'm okay with him for now too.
I also am not showing the third Mii--in actuality, Ken is the *third* Mii. Whenever I play these kind of Mii games, I always make one specific character first. But I'm not showing her off here because 1. I don't want to and 2. this time it's kensami time, boyos and girlios.
I'll make Daisuke in the full game though. As said above, I never made anyone else from Digimon or Tenchi and that includes him. I also wasn't feeling daiken at the time. Or any other time until I rewatched 02 in 2024-2025 after finally watching LEK and 02TB in 2024, and finally was able to enjoy the ship on my terms. (I was about to link to my feelings about it on my site but I can't find it now. Terrific, I'm sure LOL)
Plus, this time we can have different sexualities…I'm gonna have a party!!

Anyway, I thought it'd be cool to continue the same style I did for last year's (here's the site version) and it was cool to figure out some new tricks. I feel like I improved since last year but uh, for some reason, this time it was harder to color???? Nothing kept working and I had to even color correct the final product. It was really weird because it's the same method and programs, so I don't know...
Posing was harder too, but I like how they look. :3
The stand-alone Sasami will be posted in the future on the digimuyo site, if you are interested in that, hohohohoho. Her defense would be "I did it for Ken!" and it would be 99% true :P You don't see it here but...she has on carrot pasties :P I think it's funny!
I also discovered this version without the grey values underneath randomly--I was trying to check something and voila, I got a accidental neat illustration. Gives me an idea for a future one. It'll be under the read more since well, you can SEE more. No looking if you're a minor.

Just realized I should have posted this one first among the ones I've posted when I started this blog!
...I don't think that sentence makes any sense but you should read more about it here. The description's pretty short but basically these are the first doodles I did exactly...almost a year ago?! Well, it was October or November...anyway, that's when the crossover was rekindled. I have so many ideas with Ayeka, it's not even funny, I wish I had five clones to get them all out quick lol.
