it’s nearly midnight and guess who is panicking because she didn’t finish her rough drafts… it’s okay, I’ll take you guys along with my journey to write 2 rough drafts of 500 words within the span of 5 hours (we will try to get one sleep cycle in at least).

Last night, I did EFT tapping and started this morning slowly. Listening to my wakeupwakeupwakeup playlist instead of scrolling through TikTok like I usually do. Ahead of my interview, I did some light chores and kept my body busy, so I didn't ruminate on all the worries and what-ifs. When I felt some anxiety creeping in, I did some wall pushes and did a few rounds of Bhramari Pranayama.
The way I felt like a whole new person is actually insane. My pre-interview nerves were nowhere near as bad as they usually are. I felt a reasonable level of anxiety, and even during the interview, it felt so much easier to collect myself and gather my thoughts before giving an answer. This is actually revolutionary for me. I'm not too confident in my ability to maintain this level of ~*zen*~ but I'd really like to challenge myself to incorporate at least one method of nervous system regulation daily.
I'm truly shocked at how different I feel, with such minimal effort... like wtf. Is this how normal people feel on a regular basis? I actually have room in my mind, and I'm not scared to allow myself to think.
