Someone from tumblr YEARS ago who I was friends with made an anon post about what Digatisdi told them. It’s pretty funny when compared to what his chart had on it. I'm just looking up stuff about digatisdi and just damn how did I ever believe this person I never really read their posts all the way through but the posts about language all did come across a bit.....pretentious? The one time I ever messaged them was back when they claimed fewer languages asking them for language advice bc I (unfortunately) believed they could speak them all and they basically just told me that they had an innate talent and couldn't give me any advice So I guess that makes more sense now
In reference to that trip digatisdi supposedly took. I remember him saying that he was "speaking Cherokee with this old lady" and that she said he sounded "just like so and so" (meaning his grandma.

No. For less than a week it’s been posts and asks from people who have felt betrayed by someone who was portraying himself as many things he’s actually not.
Hate isn’t a motivating factor in this. Exposing gross people who get their kicks role playing as Native in actual Native circles would be a better description.

He started learning Cherokee online. It was obvious (As I already speak it). He didn't know much about Cherokee culture either. He used to spout "Cherokee facts" all the time and it was clear what he knew was from online. I remember he also made up a story about going to OK as some sort of "Mecca trip". Ht was kind of just batshit. And let me tell you, I am SO pleased that he finally got called out. There's still more of them (folks faking Native heritage) on here.I hope they all get called out.

Speaking of Digatisdi (I was one of the original Tumblr NDNs). He was one of the first people I called out. As the original story went, he came to my initially because we "were both" from CNO. His original story was that he spent thousands being about to trace his geneaology (to 1/16th on the Dawes). He told me his mother and brother thought he was and idiot and categorized themselves as White. It later became "I was always enrolled" and his mother spoke Cherokee as a kid... Anyway TL;DR ....

Part of digatisdi's flounce says he just assumes we're saying this because we don't like him. I liked him a lot when I was fooled by him. This has everything to do with him being proven wrong by multiple people, and nothing to do with liking him or not. (Also I hope you don't mind me opening up to you, I've sent a few messages because I don't know where else to go.)
