Joe talks about his problem and concerns, that he and many other students in the US face about college and the "F" word.
The Purple Pill
Last weekend I took a journey to a land where everything was colorful and where I can taste colors. Each color tasted like different emotions. It was the best experience. This place was beautiful. It had lovely landscapes, people, the sky's were always blue, clouds were forever white and fluffy. The only way to get to this majestic places was through the power of the pill, the rainbow pill. I don't know if I want to come back, or if I ever can...

The day I killed a fly with one finger
My mother has a wonderful home. She tries to keep it as clean as possible. Every time I go to visit her there is always something new. Either there is furniture moved around, something replaced on the wall, and even sometimes a newly bought plant from Home Depot. Ever since I have been coming to visit in the summer I have seen the same fly in the bathroom and for some reason it never left. I have tried smacking it, killing it, and even waving it out of the room. My attempts have always failed. Now the one thing that can't be explained is the reason for its ongoing growth. In the last two months this fly has grown almost as big as my whole thumb. Recognizing this fly was not an issue. It had black outer skin, furry of course, as well as two red parallel stripes starting from behind its head to its last segment. One day I'm on the "Go" status. When the business was done I took the paper roll and before I got to unroll anything I felt something squeeze between my index fingers. It cracked like the sound of a newly open plastic soda bottle. I let go of the paper roll having it drop to the ground. I place my hand from a distance with my palm faced up to come to realize how I finally smashed my mothers monstrous bathroom fly.
How does it feel to be a rockstar?
I remember the day I realized I had made it big. I was at Madison Square Garden, one of the most popular and widely known arenas in the country and my band and I, we were setting up for our show, making sure everything was in place, warming up our vocals, choosing our outfits, all that, just to make sure the show would be perfect. The funny thing about it is that no matter how hard you try to keep everything in place and in order, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is whether you're prepared or not and honestly, I wasn't prepared at all, I don't think anyone really is. Yet I still managed to get on that stage but then I looked at how many people were in the crowd, and I almost fainted, I felt scared that I was going to mess up, that I would have disappointed so many fans but then I heard something. At first it was quiet, it was barely audible but then it got louder and louder and I finally got hit with the realization that they we're chanting my name, practically everyone in the crowd was just yelling out my name and suddenly I wasn't so scared anymore. I performed the best I could that day and everyone was just singing along to the lyrics, they knew every single word perfectly, and that's when I realized I had made it big. That's kinda how being a rockstar feels like, terrifying, but it's the good kind of terrifying because I think being scared shows that you have something valuable to lose and if you don't have something important to lose, if you're not scared, then what do you have? What's the point? Being a rockstar is scary, nerve-wrecking and just plainly terrifying but at the end of the day, I go to sleep knowing how incredibly lucky I am because every single day is a dream come true, I get to do what I love most in the world and that's something that most people can't say about their job. Being a rockstar feels like a dream come true.
