#but one thing micaela - i was reading a response to people putting DFTBA bookmarks in books from someone who worked at a bookstore, and he said that a lot of times bookstore employers throw away bookmarks that they find in books without even looking at them, because more often than not they're ads or coupons or something that they don't want. Maybe there's a way to collaborate with store owners to spread the message? idk~
yes that's actually something i talked about in critique! the point of my invasion, as it were, is that i have a somewhat controlled environment where i know that people will not just throw them away (namely because my friends are the people doing it).
and part of the interesting part of the experiment as it were is that what happens if they get thrown out? that's one less person that gets informed and is kind of the impetus to continue putting them in bookstores.
(personally, i am going to just ask the people at b&n if i can use the space for the day and i'm sure they say yes - and if you're nervous about getting "caught" you should do the same!)
