My Jesus loving lesbian niece wrote this and I wanted to share it with the LGBTQA+ community so you too can believe Jesus’ loves you as you are, that you are not a mistake and he will use you to be a difference maker, just like he is doing through my beloved niece.

I believe it in my heart to the fullest extent, that God will use me to help change this hurting world in some way.
How? It’s simple…
“ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
Why?? Because…
“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
So for me? Well, it couldn’t get any better than that.
God can change even the coldest of hearts, and turn it into a tropical paradise. Even in the midst of tragedy, He can wash away all the hurt and sorrow; building you a foundation of hope for the days to come, specifically crafted for your needs in this life.
If God can pull me out of the gutters of depression and doubt by showing how much he loved me as a gay woman, can wash me clean from my sin, buff out my imperfections and hurt, AND also give me the motivation to change the world for the better??
Well now that’s quite the blessing. God, you are too too good to us.
