The 32-Year-Old Intern!
GUESS WHAT??
I’m going to be a Registered Dietitian!!!
I’ve finally been accepted into a dietetic internship (yes, even with my GPA. Yes, even though I’m dirt poor and in frightening debt. Yes, I’m still at it after all this time.) through Iowa State University’s distance internship program! (Distance= I’ll be doing my rotations in San Diego.)
Though this blog has been tragically neglected, I feel that now is the time to resurrect it.
Why?
1. I’ll have some compelling material to share!
2. I miss writing...
3. I’ll have plenty of time. Uh, I want to document this experience for posterity.
4. It will serve well as a creative outlet, processing tool, example of my writing, and record of my endeavors.
5. I am finally feeling fully validated and heartily encouraged in my career path!
