Diencephalon
The Diencephalon contains the thalamus and the hypothalamus.
The thalamus relays sensory inputs to the primary sensory areas of the cerebral cortex. These inputs come from the hypothalamus, globus pallidus, spinothalamic pathway, reticular formation, inferior colliculus, superior colliculus, and the brain stem.
Your page is one of my favorites, just saying.

I started dreaming again after many years and decided to publish this draft which is probably five years old. I still dream like this.
It seems as if every night when I finally manage to fall to sleep, I’ll definitely be in some neighborhood or someone stranger’s house, but often it is a large shopping mall, or an insurmountable museum with winding concrete staircases built around sheets of glass going up into cities stacked into the sky. Each and every industrial structure changes ever so sightly every time I try to retrace my steps. Especially if I feel like I have dreamt about that place before or some section of it. A new hybrid version of the old one to be even more complex and even harder to locate exactly what it is that I’m trying to find in each dream or trip, as it likes to seem. I’m in the middle of trying to get a location on lockdown so I can better remember which rooms definitely have the interesting stuff. Two seconds later I’m somewhere else doing it all over again.
