A miracle has happened. I think this is now the third summer when I have an allergic reaction to citruses (because grasses are blooming. cross reactions are WILD), and like the previous two summers, I have to be vigilant with drinks, because a massive chunk of all sodas, waters, juices and alcoholic beverages have citrus in some form. Most often it's either citric acid, which is a bit of a Russian roulette, because both the synthetic and non-synthetic have the same code and I only react to the latter, but it's relatively mild reaction, OR it's orange which is always clearly labeled, which I'm thankful for because small glass of orange juice would probably send me to the hospital (I mentioned my friend who works in health care that I didn't go when my throat started swelling from orange juice, and her expression made me fear for my safety a bit).
