hi im thinking about diana barry being confronted with her aunt's lesbianism and just absolutely panicking bc she has repressed those feelings so hard for so long bc that is so Absolutely Not Allowed but here it is literally in her family and then anne HER anne who has already helped her be okay with so much is saying no it's not terrible it's beautiful there's nothing wrong with being with the person you love true love is never wrong and diana thinks okay okay maybe it is ok maybe i am ok.
AND THEN . anne starts going out with gilbert. and they are SO OBVIOUSLY True Love and diana goes. oh! so my feelings for anne cannot be True Love because they aren't reciprocated! and i broke jerry's heart for no reason because i AM an evil sinful freak just like i thought :)
