Intel or AMD?
I don’t like questions like this because the last time I was asked something like this it SURE SEEMED VERY SUSPICIOUS
The “little voice in the back of your head” is supposed to be the one who thinks things are suspicious. My little voice is going “Dude calm down it’s a harmless question.”
As far as I am aware I’ve always had Intel CPUs. I am running a Core 2 Duo at about 3.1ghz right now.
Me getting suspicious about the last question is what made a few of my friends (and even my own mother) start pushing me towards doing crowd funding for a new PC. The plan was to look in to that after I finished my Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze video review, but then that took nearly two months and the inspiration I had to give it a shot went away. Doubt took back over.
It’s a double problem because I feel like it would be a little dishonest of me. I want to keep making games. I kind of have to keep making games; I owe Diablohead updated versions of those iOS games and the last time I worked on those, updates to my channel all but died for five months.
I’d thought about maybe doing developer videos for progress updates, which would work just fine, but then that creates a second problem: if I crowd fund new video capture gear, I feel like that would be with the intent of me creating new editorial content. Video reviews, maybe a weekly stream, I’ve been kicking around trying to produce a really high quality Sonic Unleashed Let’s Play for a long time, stuff like that.
So I’m kind of trapped between a rock and a hard place, and I have to get this Yoshi’s Island video done, and I kind of want to do a Mario Kart 8 video review, and I had even thought about trying to do a video review for my Roxio Gamecap.
Everything’s kind of colliding and I don’t know what to do about it.
