A little more warmth (Ethan x MC)

Although food was considered scares it wasn't to the point that anyone had to panicked about it. Despite the virus outbreak, everyone had the main bases covered. Or so they thought. It wasn't until winter started to hit that people began to realize the lack of blankets and jackets to stay warm.

In the couple of months that you had stayed with everyone, you had gotten closest to Ethan. Despite his quietness, you always felt a sense of comfort and safety with him.

On a particularly cold and stressful night, you were having troubles sleeping. Anxieties were swirling in your head and at this point you worried for your frozen toes. After a few hours of tossing and turning you finally decided to get up. If you couldn't get to sleep at least you could walk up and down the hall to get you a bit warmer and maybe salvage your toes.

You didn't get too far because a few rooms down was Ethan's classroom. Without realizing it, you had stopped infront of his door. Apprehensivly, you gave a small knock on the door. Part of you hoped Ethan was awake, but you also didn't want to wake him up if he was already asleep.

To your surprise, the door opened. Ethan was at the door and was trying to rub the sleepiness out of his eyes. One thing that you now know is that Ethan has the most horrendous case of morning bed hair. Without thinking you started to giggle. The seemingly intimidating wall of a person infront of you looked utterly adorable and just goofy with his hair sticking up in many different places. “S-sorry you just look really cute with your hair all messed up.”

“What do you need? Shouldn't you be sleeping?” Ethan said looking off to hide the dusting of pink on his cheeks.

“Oh! Umm...I just couldn't really sleep. After everything that's happened and how cold it is it's been kinda difficult.” You said realizing how awkward this entire interaction now was.

Ethan tilted his head in the direction of his classroom to tell you to come in. The two of you sat down on his makeshift floor bed letting silence fill the air.

“Do you want to take some of my blankets?” Ethan offered.

“No! I-i'm fine. I wouldn't want to make you cold.” You stammered feeling bad.

“In the past the idea of everyone sleeping in the same room was tossed around to keep warm. It might be about time to consider that idea again.” Ethan mentioned. He had noticed you starting to shiver and draped one of his blankets over you.

Before you could protest he had gotten up, told you to wait a moment, and left the room. A few minutes later he came back in with the blankets from your room and set them besides you. “....I don't want you getting cold so maybe you should stay here.”

Now with warmth enveloping you, you nodded sleepily, not wanting to put in the energy into protesting.

Ethan got up and started to arrange the blankets into something comfortable for the two of you. You got up to help, the blanket he had gotten put around you still hung from your shoulders. “Thank you Ethan.”

He simply nodded before getting under the blankets besides you. The blankets didn't provide a whole ton of space for two people so you were closer to one another than originally thought.

With sleep overwhelming you, you finally let it win. Right before you fully drifted off, you felt Ethan's warm and strong arms wrapped around you. The comforting warmth and smell of him enveloped you as you finally drifted off.

Perhaps the cold wasn't so bad after all

The next morning, Harry had walked over to Ethan's classroom hoping to find him. The morning breifing was about to start and there was still not sight of him or MC.

Knocking softly he waited a moment for a response. When he heard nothing he opened the door before seeing MC and Ethan together sleeping.

ZION: Zuho, SF9

- Zuho, or Baek Juho, is the main rapper and a dancer of the rookie group SF9. I chose him because I have a serious headcanon that Zion has a super deep voice. and zuho definitely has that. Zuho is also a really caring guy, but may not outwardly show it all the time, similar to Zion. it also definitely helps that he’s had red hair, too! (or, alternatively, because of the voice, Mingi from ATEEZ. listen to their song promise and stop at 2:14 to see what I mean)

LAWRENCE: Jungwoo, NCT 127, U, + 2018

Kim Jungwoo is a vocalist in multiple subunits in the group NCT. He’s the epitome of silent but deadly, just like Lawrence! Jungwoo is a very calm a soft person, but very startlingly fierce at the same time. Though, as far as I know, he’s not insane lol

EUGENE: Hyujin, Stray Kids

Hwang Hyunjin is a rapper in the rookie group Stray Kids. I picked him mainly because though Hyunjin seems a bit intimidating because of his rapping, he’s a real sweet person, similar to Eugene. They’re are very alike in my opinion. They’re both really kind and fluffy guys, but, they’re also young and very sarcastic.

HARRY: S.Coups, SEVENTEEN

S.coups, or Choi Seungcheol, is the leader of rookie group SEVENTEEN. when I think of Harry, I think caring and selfless. that’s also what comes to mind when I think of seungcheol. The both of them are very compassionate, and value their friendships. And just like Harry, seungcheol is someone who keeps the group together.

ETHAN: Sehun, EXO

LAWRENCE:

1. They touched a little on this if you played his route, but it only said that his parents didn’t really pay attention to him. But, I think that there’s a possibility that he could have been abused as well. He always said that he studied for himself, not them. And he wanted to get into a good college for himself, and maybe that was his way of trying to detach from them and live the best life as possible. He has a pretty tough and kind personality, but there are obviously parts of him that are a little out of place. And, I think it might partially have to do with something like that.

2. It was Lawrence who was out in the field. around chapter 16 or so, mc goes out into the school years because she thinks she sees Scarlett leaving. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that it was Lawrence out there instead, because the only thing she said was ‘that it moved too human-like’ to be a zombie, she didn’t identify it or anything. And, with how fast he got to her, I don’t think it’s impossible

4. At one point in the story, MC mentions how because of how kind lawrence is and all of the leadership skills he has, she thinks that he could’ve easily been popular before the outbreak. I think it’s totally a possibility, but it’s still iffy. I mean, it could always be something the popular guy with a disastrous home life cliché, but I don’t really think so. If any one of the guys were to be popular, I think it’d either be Zion, because of obvious reasons, or Ethan, because of his skills in sports.

ZION:

1. He and Scarlett have been together for a while. And I don’t mean like in a relationship, I mean just generally. They seem like a pair that knows the other well, whether they like it or not. I think that it might be something like she took a liking to him when they were young, gripped onto him, and just hasn’t let go since. But, either way, I think it’s been a while.

2. Zion has a deep voice. The game doesn’t share the character’s voices, but if it did, I’m s u r e that his would be deep. I mentioned this in my dangerous fellows as kpop idols post, and it seriously stands. Like, the best example I can come up with is is you listen to Zuho’s voice in sf9’s song ‘let’s hang out’ that’s sort of what I imagine it as sounding like. (@1:49)

3. Zion and Harry know morse code. Look, hear me out. This sounds absolutely insane, and sort of is, it’s just that in that one scene before they go investigate the basement, and they blink to each other, I think the game makes too much of a deal of it for that just to be a small detail. Maybe it’s something like Zion telling Harry that they’ll catch up after he talks to mc? Because if you decline when he asks you if you have a minute and say you just want to get back to your classroom, this doesn’t happen. It’s a little far fetched, I think, but not impossible

ETHAN:

1. Idk why but I personally think that Ethan has younger siblings?? like, he somehow gives off that older brother vibe. he’s a pretty protective and mindful guy, and I think it’s totally a possibility that it came from having considerably younger siblings. ugh, but just imagine that. Ethan trying to teach his younger sibling(s) baseball.

HARRY: 

1. We all already know that Harry is a plant dad, but my brain can’t help but think that he’s a big animal person too! I’m not sure why, but I can seriously imagine Harry just cuddled up with a few cats, with plants hanging from holders on the ceiling around him, reading a book or something (!!someonemake the fanart!!)

2. This isn’t really a headcanon, but i’ve sort of always wondered why he’s so kind to MC. I mean, I get that it could just be for the plot of the game since they need at least one nice guy, but maybe there’s another backstory to it. idk, maybe we’ll find out in Harry’s second ending or smth (the new update in the ~foreseeable~ future)
