Kate was surprised that they had let her go home. She had reacted badly to a new medication, and it had all gone downhill in a matter of seconds. The only thing harder than what had happened that day was what had happened that night. She was sitting at home when she heard a knock at the door. It was Conrad, and she had never seen like this before. His eyes were blood shot, and he had tears streaming down his face. She pulled him, frantically asking him what was wrong.
