Who cooks?

Canonically speaking it’d be Bae. Devin would be all about ‘Let’s just believe something up for dinner. Filet mignon or whatever.’ And Bae would be all ‘Magic is bad. We are rotissering this boar the old fashioned way.’ And AU...yeah, still Bae.

Who’s the messiest? The cleanest?

Devin’s pretty messy. He likes to just leave his scarves and stuff all around. But Bae’s not much better. He likes to leave his paintbrushes and charcoal pencils all over. Basically, it’s always very cluttered. But neither one of them are slobs - so it’s cluttered and messy, but not dirty per se.

Who fixes the vehicle after a breakdown?

Bae. He’s good at figuring stuff out so even though he doesn’t really know what’s going on - he’ll figure it out and make it work.

Living space has a leak! Who fixes it?

See above.

Who buys the groceries?

Bae again. Devin would spend it all on candy or World of Warcraft expansion packs.

Going out to eat: Who pays? Who orders the most food? And who has dessert?

They aren’t really the going-out-to-dinner type. They’re more take out and chilling on the couch types. And in that case they take turns paying. Which of course starts some ‘I paid last time.” ‘Yeah but the time before that was Chinese food and that was like double what Dominoes costs us!” arguments. Desert is had by both. Bae likes chocolate and Devin’s more of a stuff-that-melts-in-your-mouth kinda guy.

Would they go to the beach?

Oh yeah. Bae would sit and draw, Devin would scare seagulls. They’d go out and swim as far out as they can, and then paddle back and rest on the shore with the waves still crashing over them. D’awww.

Who knows how to swim? Who doesn’t?

They both know how to swim, quite well. Bae’s best at breaststroke and Devin can tread water for what seems like d a y s.

Is someone multilingual? Do they try to teach another language to the other? How does it go?

Nope. Neither. I mean, I guess in AUs? And it’d be really cute for them to teach each other languages but I don’t have a specific headcanon for it so??

Any pets? Or plants?

Can’t you just see these two nerds with a cat? They totally have a cat. Her name’s Cassie and she’s a tabby who’s very, very selective of when she chooses to love you but when she does she’ll take your whole day. Plants? Not so much. Maybe a little fern or two?

Baths or showers? Together or separate? Any bubbles or bubble fights?

Baths for fun, showers for efficiency. And as that implies, the former is more likely to be together. And when it is, you bet half the tub is gonna be bubbles and there will be so many bubble fights. And it gets all over the rest of the bathroom and it’s a complete mess. Totally worth it.

Can they stand silence? Who talks the most? Who talks the least?

Devin isn’t big on silence, but sometimes he can just sit and enjoy Bae’s company, around a fire or on the couch and just holding hands and enjoying each other. Fiddling with their scarves.

Who stays up late? Who sleeps the most? Does the other have to force them to sleep/wake up?

They’re both pretty late people. Stay up late into the night doing miscellaneous things-  TV or Bae drawing or what have you. As for waking them up. You cannot wake Bae up with anything less than an entire parade on his head. Devin tries and tries but he can never succeed. It’s always ‘Five more minutes!’ and ‘Come ON Devin you’re so unfair.”

Who is the highest maintenance? Does the other mind?

Neither? I mean? Come on? They’re both scruffy guys who are fine skating by the minimum when it comes to maintenance.

Vacation ideas: who decides them? Where would they go, if anywhere?
