I need to say something that has been upsetting me the past couple days. Somebody told me I was insensitive over a fictional character’s illness and how medical trauma is real and I should know this because I had COVID. For the record, I am traumatized but not by my own. I watched residents I grew to love die one after another, ALONE, because people were too ignorant to follow basic guidelines. So sorry if I need to laugh where I can.

I don’t understand why mental illness has become so competitive. It’s almost as though you have to back up your feelings with substantial evidence that your life warrants the disorders you have. It’s such a toxic way to look at mental health. Anyone can be depressed/anxious/compulsive, and it’s not fair to discount the struggles they face because you believe their life is so much easier than yours. 

so i’m at work right now, and I’m sitting at my receptionist desk, and there are these two kids in the waiting room, and i can’t see them because there’s a wall separating my desk from the waiting room. one of the kids as been SCREAMING for the past hour; yelling about wanting his sister to give him something, I work in a mental health office, so there are appointments going on, and I go to ask them to use their inside voices, and come to find out that the boy who is crying is not 3, like i thought he would be, but looks to be 13 years old. and he’s screaming about his sister because she won’t give him a freaking magazine. WTF

Okay. So the one thing that’s bothering me in Scooby Doo and the Witches Ghost is the fact that they’re treating Wiccan like it’s some sort of heritage. Like, “oh, I’m German, Italian, Hungarian, and Wiccan”. No. It don’t work like that, movie. Wicca is a religion and you don’t have to have Wiccan blood in you to be a Wiccan. It’s a choice like any other religion. Either born into it or you choose to be apart of. 

How hard is it to find a letterman jacket the same colour as Richie's? For real...
