So, I know this week’s ask meme Monday was difficult because not many people were around to participate, so I wanted to offer again that we do it with the ask meme I had picked, since it’s pretty lit and has a lot to work with.

Hey all, Admin Jilly here again- haha, seems like I talk a lot through notes lately but we’ve got an exciting event coming up this Saturday and I wanted to give everyone a head’s up about it!

This Saturday is going to be a Spring Festival in Devil’s Watch! The Town Center is going to be a epicenter of fun games, food, and vendors of all sorts trying to sell their wares while celebrating the new, fresh, and warmer weather.

The main reason I wanted to announce it was not only to just let you know what was coming up, but also because we plan to have a chatzy event that Saturday evening. So, along with people posting starters in relation to the festival, there will also be a chatzy! This is the first time I’m attempting this, so I hope you’ll all be able to participate, but regardless it will definitely be fun! I’m not sure what time the chatzy will open that evening, but once I know more I’ll post something here about it.

Hello everyone! This is the new admin - Unlucky. I’m going to keep this short and sweet. You may have heard Jilly and Morgi talking about some changes as Kendra left along with adding a new person. That person was me. I used to run a RP of my own at one point and will be active frequently on this blog behind the scenes. If you have any questions feel free to attack the main.

As of currently, I am the one doing graphics for the RP, and was the one that updated the main blog’s theme. I’m looking for suggestions and questions for anything and everything so if you have any please do come at us.

Hey all! Got some exciting news for you all, so listen up!

Since Valentine’s Day is coming up very soon, as you may well, and as such Devil’s Watch is not immune to the commercialized holiday. The town’s shops have cute hearts in the windows, and chocolate and conversation heart candy are being sold everywhere. The various species celebrate in their own ways, and it’s actually a very fun time- for most people, of course there are going to be Valentine’s grinches.

However, one thing that he whole town goes to attend is the big Valentine’s dance (dubbed Cupid’s Dance just to make it more cheesy- you know humans had to name it that) that is held in one of the largest rooms in the Town Hall. People come here to enjoy the dance, have a romantic evening, or spike the punch.

Now for the event we will be pairing people randomly together to do threads with! The pairing doesn’t necessarily have to be a date (although it can be) but it can be a random meeting in the Town Hall that turns out positively, it can be two people not into the dance scene but are there because it’s what the townspeople do, or any number of things!

So, what you need to do to have your character involved in our town dance and be paired with another player is to send an ask into the main saying “my character wants to go to the Valentine’s dance.” and if you have multiple characters, make sure to add in everyone that you want to attend. If there is an odd number, then one person may have a night with more than one person but we will keep it as fair as we can, seeing as we want everyone to have a epic Valentine’s Day.

We will announce who is paired up on Saturday, so you have time to plan your thread with the other player. You can post your thread any time during the week of Valentine’s.

Just a small note, be sure to check your notes on your threads, some of our new people have been responding to starters with no reply back. We’ve noticed that happens a lot with new blogs.

Also, keep a look out for another note with a new rule change coming up shortly. Expect it in the next day or two! I’m sure everyone will be excited with it. Thank you!

Hey all! It’s me again, just wanting to make an awesome announcement.

I’m grateful to say that two players have stepped up in a major way to help me run this group: Eden and Morgan.

I was definitely willing to do what I could on my own for as long as it took until I found replacements for my admins, but they stepped right up and I just think that proves how strong this group is, and that we have an awesome crew in this group.

So, I’m extending a huge thank you to them! Soon, we’ll have things running much more smoothly. Again, thank you for your patience, everyone. <3

Hey all! Just dropping this note to keep you all in the loop with what’s going on here in our group. Recently the other admins, Peter, Bird, and Gabs, have all stepped down from their admin positions due to personal circumstances and just being unable to continue the duties here. So, it’s a sad goodbye but it’s for the best at the moment, and I definitely respect their wishes to go.

Of course that leaves just me to run the place and I’m just going to let you know that things are going to slow down because it’s a pretty decent sized group for one person. I will be seeing what I can do to find other people to join me as admins so we can keep going strong, but until then just expect things to slow down a little bit.

I thank you all for your patience, I am not giving up on this group because I know it’s got a lot of good people and I love each and every one of you for being so dedicated here. Your dedication keeps me going!

So, this is just a bump in the road, but it’s certainly not over. I will still be accepting applications, doing plot updates, etc. So stay hype,lovelies! 2017 is going to rock Devil’s Watch.
