Paro always lit her Chahaat ke πͺ in the absence of Devdas
but when he returned the struggle of keeping the ππͺ always became a challenge for both.
Neither Dev nor Paro could end their scene to intimacy cz of 3rd's intervention.
This 'metaphorical subtlety is something missing in many director's style incl. SLB himself these days (couldn't make myself watching Heeramandi)
But his Devdas got it in the past
Also in this few seconds of 'Dev-Paro' where they became really close to feel each others breath yet it's their flaunting of yearning went sluggish enough to get intervened by someome's calling up Paro and the scene came to an end from an almost possibility to leaving Dev alone to finish his longing in sad eyes.
